When I visit my head office I always make sure I stay at the Thames Riviera. The staff are friendly, the rooms nice and clean and there's the great bar and restaurant. The breakfast is also especially good and they've recently changed it to self service so I can have all the black pudding I wanted! :-) Highly recommended.

Staff really ruined this trip for us to the point that we tried to cancel our second night and we're told we would be charged, yet we still left and booked another night at Village Urban Hotel, Elstree. To start with they took a Pre-authorisation of £150 on a 2 night stay of £104. This would have been absolutely fine,...

The Thames Riviera Hotel I think just needs a little more attention to detail and it could be so much better. A brilliant location and most staff are nice but there are a few that could do with a little more training in the customer service department. In fairness, there was a little renovation work going when we were there...

How to start well on checking they have a sign explaining they need a copy of photo ID normal for hotels until you realise they are going to treat you for the entire time of your stay as though your going to run off without paying, so I take out my driving licence and the clerk challenges me regarding smokeI...

I brought a Groupon voucher for tea with a glass of Presecco for £19 for two. Good value for money. We had excellent service (I have ready previous reviews). A good variety of sandwiches, two warm scones with jam and cream (not clotted, which was a shame), macoroons, mini eclairs and another mini cake. I think I can safely say...

On our first morning out of a party of 14 only two were served the right breakfast we were the first of our party our order was taken first we were...

We spent one night at the Thames Riviera Hotel whilst visiting friends in Maidenhead. Although there were only 2 of us, we booked a family room which provided some extra space, additional sofa bed, desk and chair. We had "side on" views of the river with bright sunshine in the morning. The room was quite comfortable, with plenty of sockets...

I purchased a Dinner bed and breakfast deal.....I say deal as I paid 150.00 to spend quality time with my partner following a difficult year due to illness. Upon arriving at the hotel we were given an upgrade. All was good in the world. The room itself was lovely. As advised by reception we telephoned the restaurant to reserve a...

I think the pictures speak for themselves. Dirty, tired and mismatched furniture. Mould in the bathroom. No privacy glass in the bathroom meaning that we had to always have the blind down and shut when in there. Not an issue because the blind was broken and in fact couldn't be raised only tilted to let light through or block light...
