Stayed at the Kingswood hotel for one night, it was ok for the stop over I needed with my godson but it needs updating, pleasant check in but that's where it ended, the room was very small for 2 people and only had 1 set of towels, there was no one around to ask for another set, the shower/bathroom was...

Me and Wife came to stay in this hotel from Spain but weren't very impress with rating on `Trip Advisor but upon checking in real story was different,We were greeted appropriately well by the hotel manager and he took us to room made me stunned with explanations and information to ease out curiosity as we came to attend a funeral....

Stayed for 3 nights on business. Room was small, no curtains only nets. Shower was over bath and had sloping ceilings so could not stand to shower, had to sit or kneel. For my needs was adequate and the staff were helpful and the Indian restaurant good.

The fact that even the official blurb about the hotel is lazily written in bad English says all you need to know. If this was cheap, I wouldn't have minded. But for £70 a night I just got up and tried to shower to find the shower just doesn't work. I complained and they told me to take a bath....

Our room wasn't ready when we checked in, but we dumped our case in the room (which looked a bit of a mess!) & went out into the town. When we returned a few hours later, the room had been done, it was clean & adequate for our needs. The tv could've been a bit bigger though as it was...

There has been some modernisation I.e furniture. The bed and facilities are fine but let me mention what needs addressing and why my overall rating is low: There is no curtain in the room! The radiator/heating doesn't work. Have turned it on and no heat. There are some noises in the pipes that need to be investigated. The bathroom really...

We stayed overnight during Henley Regatta as it's close on the train. Our room was lovely - big, clean and quiet. For the bargain price it is the touches like having tea, coffee and biscuits were really nice. We ate in the Indian restaurant in the hotel which was by far the best Indian I've had recently - beautifully presented...

I stayed in a double room, which was pleasant, if a little tatty. The proprietor explained he had been out of the country and the management had let the place go a little and I could see that in the rooms. Downstairs they have started a restaurant and this is where pretty much all of my score comes from. The...

“We slept on the ground floor in the back. It was quiet, which we wanted. I imagine all rooms would be quiet since the hotel is in a residential neighborhood and the road in front didn't have a lot of traffic.”
