Wenda and Steve get everything right from the things you expect to the nice extra touches. Lollies in a bowl half way up the stairs, maps and directions to suit what you want, homemade jam and bread and close attention to detail are all part of the stay. Parking in a city and a country infested with cars is included,...

After several failed attempts to find a suitable room for my father and I in Salisbury, I chanced across the number for Cathedral View in a brochure. This turned out to be the greatest stroke of luck for our entire visit. Steve and Wenda were not only the consummate host and hostess with excellent people skills, food and a beautiful...

Steven and Wenda are wonderful hosts. They made us feel welcome from the beginning of our stay until the end. The breakfast was hearty or light, depending on our taste - special kudos for the perfect poached egg and delicious cut up fruit. Location, location, location - so much within a walkable distance, Salisbury Cathedral as well as downtown. Bus...

Steve and Wenda are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for them. They go out of their way to make your stay a memorable one. The location is ideal for visiting the cathedral and the town itself. Breakfast was exceptional with lots of homemade produce . If you come to Salisbury you must stay here.

My friend and I began our visit to South West England in Salisbury at Cathedral View. We loved it. Wenda and Steve were very welcoming, friendly, and a fountain of knowledge about the area. We stayed 4 nights, and had a great experience. We explored Salisbury and used it as a base to explore the area. Our only wish was...

A warm welcome from Steve awaited us at Cathedral View, giving a comfortable and homely feeling from the start. Useful details and recommendations were given before being shown to our immaculately clean and cosy room, with a large comfortable bed, "yummy" homemade biscuits, tea and coffee, and a lovely airy bathroom with everything needed to freshen up without even opening...

We recommend Cathedral View for it's friendliness, location, comfort and convienience. Steve and Wenda were most helpful with their local knowledge and recommendations particularly where to eat and what to see. We found the room clean, the large bed comfortable and the facilities adequate. We would recommend to anyone visiting Salisbury.

The reason we rented this room was because of its reviews on Tripadvisor. We will just have to ditto all of the other fabulous reviews for this establishment. It is in a great location next to the cathedral and close to other neat places to visit. There are numerous places to eat and drink within walking distance. Steve was extremely...

This is a great B&B at a good price. I stayed with my family (2 adults and 2 teenage boys) after walking from Aimsbury (and Stonehenge). We received a warm welcome. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. We got recommendations on where to eat and what to see. The following day, they held our bags until we were ready...

We received a very warm welcome and given lots of information and recommendations of places to visit and to eat - Cloisters pub down the road served really good meals. Our room was very comfortable and the breakfasts were superb - individually cooked by Steve with local and homemade produce. We shall definitely come again
