Not a great experience, nothing horrendously ,major but an awful lot of little thinmgs which really let this place down. Special occasion so booked a special room, it was fine on the surface but somebody needs to implement a maintenance plan. Broken window catches, shaving socket not grouted into the tiles, bathroom door paint flaking and tea tray cracked with...

Nice place, lovely staff but when booking for quiet weekend away because you've had a long week, you don't expect to be confronted with a wedding, can't sit at bar because of all kids running around, your comments not taken on board. Also drinks loung taken up by wedding so took drinks back to room, then the boom boom boom of...

Arrival was easy and check in straightforward. My room was very pleasant with a lovely view of the gardens overlooking the river. The shower was powerful and easy to use. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was lovely - all set out as self serve with plenty of choice.

My husband and I booked this wonderful hotel for a two night getaway. It was a last minute decision so we were unsure what to expect. We received a lovely warm welcome from the young man on the reception desk, the room was great ,breakfast delicious and waiting staff nice and friendly.

Spent 1 night here and shared a twin room with my mum. It was absolutely fine, nice large sized room, quiet, a super view and a comfortable bed! We had an evening meal here too, which was also fine. The staff were nice and helpful.

Friendly efficient staff , great sized room with patio and great views. Extra large comfy bed and a variety of pillows. Room 22 and 23 definitely the best we have stayed in here. Recommend the walk along the Town Path into Salisbury.

We booked this hotel for a family get-together (17 of us). Very warm welcome by reception. We had to choose our dinner menu options when we checked-in, but that was understandable given how big our party was. We were given a private room for dinner, as requested, which was great - and meant we didn't annoy any other diners with...

We chose the Grasmere as our wedding venue. The organising and planning with the general manager a Babs was great, she was friendly, helpful and always happy to help. On the day unfortunately things didn't go entirely to plan, due to unexpected rain, they weren't completely ready for us when we arrived, so there was a short delay on welcome...
