Fantastic place to stay. Staff are quick to respond to any issues. Food is fabulous. Only slight grumble is the perhaps room could do with freshening up. Very close to shops and 3 min walk from the cathedral!

What a wonderful hotel. After a long flight and then a drive from London staff were very friendly, helpful and informative and the room very comfortable. Staff happily directed us to city sights, made an appointment with a Dr when I fell ill and were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. One of Accor's better hotels. Thoroughly recommend it.

We stayed here two years ago. We arrived by train and had 2 rooms for 3 nights.. All the staff were extremely helpful including reception, bar, waiters and housekeeping. Well locate in the City centre. The breakfast were about the best we have experienced and good value. We enjoyed our experience of afternoon tea. The rooms were fine and the...

We regularly stay at Mercure hotels, trusting that we can be assured of certain standards of comfort, food and cleanliness. This time, the comfort (bed) and the food (breakfast) were good and we slept and ate well. However we were shocked at the extremely poor standards of cleanliness in the room (126) We found thick layers of dust everywhere and...

Stayed for one night on a business trip, it was an easy and comfortable experience. The reception staff were very friendly which is always nice when arriving late. I ordered late food too, which was provided without hesitation or grumble. Room was clean and the shower was just right, although the water didn't get particularly hot. Breakfast was very good,...

The hotel is in a fantastic location next to the cathedral and is right in the middle of Salisbury. The staff are efficient and welcoming. When I first got to the room, it was dirty and smelled of smoke. The room had been made up and the windows left open. Clearly the cleaners don't have time to fully clean the...

I stayed at this hotel for six nights and was thoroughly pleased with all aspects. I am glad I chose this hotel. Handy location and great staff, especially the front desk. Also the restaurant was very good.

Stayed here on business, just a fly over night stay for me. I have eaten lunch here before when having a meeting and have always been impressed by the quality of the food and staff, so thought it might be a good place to stay. Again, the staff were excellent, the young chap on reception very attentive, I wasn't pleased...

Stayed here end of February, beginning of March for 5 days. Had fish and chips in the bar area which was very good. The room was clean and comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities and a decent hairdryer. The free wifi worked very well with multiple devices. The only problem I had was with the person in the room...
