It was a very short stay, however the room was excellent and the front desk people were great. The breakfast was good it was standard and clean environment. It is a very conveniently located, easily in and out to the main train station and there are bus stops next to it. Walking distance to the shopping area and bars. Nice...

Attended a charity event, hotel staff very friendly, especially George who couldn't do enough for you, quintessential host from the old school. Valet parking well worth it as it's hassle free. Bedrooms feel dated as does the hotel sadly as its quite an imposing building. Excellent choice of breakfast and quick service

Once again, we chose to stay in The Queens whilst visiting our daughter who is studing at Leeds University. Unfortunately there were a string of things wrong when we entered our room - most unusal forThe Queens! No remote for the TV, only a couple of hangers in the wardrobe, only one bathrobe, water pump for shower not working, bar...

Fabulous review, thank you Paul. So thrilled you found your stay worthy of 5 stars. It was a bit of a coup having the Kaiser Chiefs stay and play #hoteltotherichandfamous Wayne Topley General Manager

The hotel reminded me of 1970s or even 1960s, however, it is pleasant, the room was clean, the bed and linned were good, the shower was very powerful (highly appreciated!) and the breakfast was decent. On a bad side: The rooms are small and there is a lot of noise from the outside, no matter on what side of the...

Have stayed in The Queens twice in last 6 weeks. Both times we were on a "Special Deal" basis.. The hotel is in good location adjoining the railway station. The hotel is Art Deco style and some of the fixtures and fittings are a little faded in the rooms. However on both occasions the bathroom was spotlessly clean and the...

Stayed one night in the Queens hotel for a business meeting. reception staff were very efficient and helpful. I was meeting colleagues at a nearby restaurant and the receptionist didn't know it, but looked it up for me so she could give me directions. The hotel itself is right outside the main train station in Leeds, very attractive building and...

The location is awesome, only a stones throw from the city centre. Staff were extremely courteous. I had a lovely stay here and the hotel has retained it's old world charm. We had an issue with the aircon not working it was either boiling or freezing. The breakfast had a good choice. Would stay again!

Whilst this hotel is in a great location with easy access to the shops and the railway station, the hotel is definatly in need of a refurbishment. The room I stayed could only be described as faded glory, the head board and wardrobe doors were covered in a faux leather material which was ripped, the furniture scratched and the paintwork...

Night staff should have security on every floor because the hotel has established itself as the place to party all night. It is 3:10am and I have not been able to sleep because of the many guests going to rooms all night slamming doors, laughing and talking loudly.

I am so sorry that you were left disturbed by our guests; I will of course investigate the issues raised with our security team and hope I can offer my assurances that this is by no means our usual standard of service. We look forward to being able to restore your faith some time in the future. Wayne Topley General...

“Housekeeping is something you would expect in all hotels. Whilst they do perform a valuable service to your room, long-term visitors may get frustrated by those that move certain items from where you placed, such as putting the bin by the desk rather then its original location by the TV, for example. In addition, they do like to invade between that precious period between you having breakfast and then going back up to grab your things before heading off. Whilst experienced hotel users may put the reversible sign back in until you do leave, you're best off leaving it on the 'Do Not Disturb' to avoid confusion, then changing for housekeeping when you do leave. Despite the housekeeping issues, this is excellent.”
