We booked this hotel as a base for a couple of days of visiting around the Leeds area. We arrived too early to check in, so we though we'd go for a pint and a bite to eat in the lounge/bar. Lunch deals are advertised widely in the reception, and bar area. The menu is typical pub food, and quite...

We were booked into room 208 and had nothing but an excellent experience from start to finish. Reception lady professional, friendly and helpful at check in. Room clean and tidy with tea/coffee making facilities. Evening meal was exceptional and the chef and waitress lovely and ready to help. Really nice man at checkout and even made a complimentary tray of...

A comfortable clean hotel with friendly staff and good food. Has a wonderful cosy bar where people meet for drinks and chat. There were some workmen from Holland using the bar each night, but they were very well behaved, quiet and very friendly. We had no problem with them at all. Called in for Sunday lunch, as the carvery was advertised at £8.95 per head, which isn't a bad price. The menu listed a selection of H D'ourves and soup, beef and turkey, vegetables, followed by apple crumble and custard. Three courses for £8.95 was indeed a bargain! And then it all went downhill. We were stood waiting to be seated...

We stayed at this hotel for four nights last week. We were very cold in our bedroom, with no heating whatsoever in the bathroom. We complained several times but there was no improvement at all. We found the staff to be very inexperienced and the service was very poor. Another complaint was that workmen were allowed in the bar area...

This was a last minute booking following a mix up with another B and B. Lovely room on the inside of the hotel with a skylight type light setting. Decorated nicely and clean. Very comfortable bed, albeit the room was ever so slightly on the warm side. Buffett style hot and cold breakfast, so if you went hungry- it was...

Stayed for 1 night after visiting the emmerdale studio tour. Room was cold with no heating on. Room okay but would benefit a refurb to bring it up to date. TV had red lines on the screen and looked like it had been a computer/ tv screen previously. Only 1 towel for 2 quests. Carvery was okay but felt like...
