Model Farm mentions in its' description that visitors should expect the normal farmyard smells associated with such places. But that really would be disingenuous as they are, in fact, running a business butchering animals and processing their meat. From my bedroom window in the barn conversion, I saw one of the workmen trundling a shopping trolley full of carcasses across...

When I arrived the young Polish girl in reception told me to lock any valuables in my car as the room wasn't very secure. The room smelt of stale tobacco odour and was filthy, even the wee pots of milk had dirt on them. I wouldn't stay here again if it was FREE.

This was quaint, certainly not a chain bnb style place but I had an open mind. Bed was comfy, room nice enough, lady was polite and pleasant. But the roof windows had no blinds and 2 wall windows only had net thin curtains. I ended up awake earlier than I would have been at home with kids. One of my...

We stayed here first last year in the house. This time we were in the barn conversion. This involves some steps that would not be suitable for wheelchair or elderly persons with walking problems. Being in the barn also means that you have to walk to the main house for breakfast. It is not far but could be a problem for...

Model farm is a bed and breakfast with several cottages to let as well as a cafe, a farm shop, and wonderful views close to Leeds and Bradford central. The downside is that the front desk closes at 10 pm and as we got stuck in the terrible holiday traffic we missed the deadline and had to find alternative accomodation...

Perfect B&B to spend my Birthday. The room was clean and very comfortable. I loved the BBQ facilities and communal outdoor area overlooking the valley - was beautiful and an absolutely delight. Breakfast was also excellent with a cooked breakfast and continental options both great!

Model Farm is on the south east edge of Bradford with a great view to the north. Conveniently situated for Bradford, Leeds, Saltaire, Haworth and even the Dales. My room was in a barn conversion with a huge bed in a large room. The room was not wheelchair accessible but there may be other rooms that are. There's a farm...

Travelled in anticipation, from the wonderful description and pics on booking ,com. It is actually more like a scrapyard than a farm. It is dirty unkempt, unlit (for a good reason).and filthy. I was offered two rooms ,one supposedly the very best and it was simply 0 star rating. GIVE THIS PLACE A WIDE BERTH.,and they are trying to hold on to...

I have stayed at the Model Farm on two occasions. The bedrooms are mainly in the 'barn', although they have cottages and a house to let. The prices are reasonable and includes a great breakfast. The rooms are slightly quirky being Having very high ceilings and exposed beams. The colour scheme is modern. The breakfast consists of juice, cereal, tea,...

This is the second time that we have stayed here. Friendly and welcoming. They serve a Polish / English breakfast with is wonderful: an abundance of fresh fruit, choice of meats and fish and then an English breakfast cooked to order. I like the fact that the bedrooms are unique with a comfortable bed, fresh milk provided for you to...
