Firstly I would like to say, I have always read holiday and hotel reviews on trip advisor and they have never been far off the mark. But I am afraid the reviews for this hotel were so far off I had to check when I got home. Something has obviously gone very wrong since September October last year. When we...

Really nothing to add that's already been said...we were over the main road...nothing to moan about. Usual road noise. Breakfast, now your talking that's us not eating all day. Would love to say how comfy the beds were....but I was asleep fast 😉😉 very comfy. If have to come to Bradford again will check here first.

Our 2nd visit, still a "work in progress" not perfect but good value. Room refreshed each day, tea, coffee, milk, clean towels and soaps etc. Friendly staff, good breakfast, (although no cereals) .Lister park just over the road lovely to walk round. Regular buses to city just outside,10 min trip. On a busy road but traffic noise did not bother...

Unfortunately I had to cancel my booking on the afternoon of arrival, the Hotel was very understanding and invited me to re-book a future date. I had expected to lose my money, so this was a very impressive start. The Hotel is easy to find from the Railway Station (shuttle bus passes the door) and opposite the beautiful Lister Park....

Nice room with view across to the park. A little noisy until the traffic calmed down in late evening, but ok. Easy walking distance to city centre with cathedral and National Media Museum etc or catch bus at bus stop outside hotel.

The Hotel was easy to find, on the main road, directly opposite Lister Park. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Room was comfortable and clean and the full English breakfast was huge and very tasty. We had slight concerns about the noise from the pub, however, once the bedroom door was closed, it was very quiet and peaceful.

Friendly and helpful staff. Room clean and comfy bed, additional furnishings were a little poor. Full english breakfast was huge first morning so changed to poached eggs the next morning. chef was very obliging. Ideal location to access bradford and surrounding area ( but is on main road so a bit noisy if window open). Bus stop outside hotel however...

Just got back from there. Hotel and bedrooms are comfortable, staff, guests and locals very friendly (even the workmen who a previous reviewer had complained about, maybe it might be you who was unsociable, just a thought) Saw some really negative reviews and was dreading it, negative people should not stay it's Bradford not the Bahamas at the price it's...

Was looking for a weekend away, from Friday to Sunday, and we found a cracking hotel in The Cartwright. The room was quiet, clean and en suite, and the staff could not have been more friendly, helpful and approachable. With several Bradford attractions just a short drive away, and the delightful Lister Park across the road, we were entertained from...
