I visited this hotel with my partner last week on bank holiday weekend to get away for the evening with the theory that once in a hotel room you could be anywhere...
When we arrived we realised the hotel was actually a pub with rooms...More
You get what you pay for, rooms very small, slight under maintained, for example, plug socket, plaster surrounding is crumbling away, pubic hair on wall in bathroom. Furniture is old. Bed is the most uncomfortable thing ive ever slept on, my carpet at home is...More
The room was very tight but the bed was correct and the staff was really nice.
Unfortunately, the bathroom was pretty dirty: the toilet board was stained with excrement... Futhermore, sound insulation is really bad between the rooms.
I lived here for a year in the 1980s so, because this is the first time I have been back to Bradford, I just had to go and have a look. A self indulgent trip down memory lane.

Te hotel is nice comfy and boutique, the rooms were a bit tiny but clean! very close to Lister Park and the bus stop is just near us. its a nice place for an old couple rather than a teen couple or youth.

Hi. I can only go on our stay at the beginning of June this year. The accommodation was adequate for our stay as we used it for a base. Our room was clean and bedding also. Furniture was a bit dated and well usedone, but most hotels are like this. TV with Dvd player on wall. Desk and chair and wardrobe.Bathroom was small but clean. Staff were so friendly and breakfast was fantastic, especially as we only paid £79 for 3 nights for the both of us. Towels were changed every day. We didn't see a lot of workmen but it was evident that it was still under refurbishment. There was a lot of traffic but this is only expected as the hotel is on the main road. Drink was cheap in the bar which also has a pool table and conservatory. I couldn't fault our stay, would definitely go back.
I hope this helps put your husbands mind at rest :)
