Having needed accommodation during lockdown for a family funeral, the experience could have felt quite daunting. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the hotel quiet and inviting, and rooms warm and comfortable. Room service only for food, but the food arrived quickly, freshly made and was delicious. Also delivered with a friendly smile (well, behind a mask) We chose a breakfast box and bap for morning which you order with a lovely man at the entrance to the restaurant which is taken to your room to eat... a special mention to this lovely man who was very friendly and so willing to give such a personalised and lovely service in such strange circumstances. (I’m sorry I didn’t catch your name). The girls on reception were just as friendly. Thank you for making a difficult trip a little easier. Highly recommended…

We were looking for somewhere near the crematorium to provide refreshments. A internet such found the Chichester Park Hotel was only five minutes away by foot. The hotel provided a room and refreshments at a reasonable cost. All the staff were very attentive and helped a sad event go very smoothly. It was much nicer hosting this in a hotel rather than in a pub.

We use this hotel many times, both for business and pleasure. It's a family-run, friendly hotel that offers great service and the comfiest of beds. More than once we've nearly missed breakfast, the beds are so comfortable. The bar could do with a revamp but the staff are always exceptionally friendly and efficient. The menu is small but very good. I recommend the salmon and the lamb. There are some delicious red wines too. With Goodwood round the corner and Chichester a mere five minutes away, a great place for work and play.
