We checked in around 11.30 pm after a late arrival at Birmingham airport. ( around 20 mins drive) While the corridor seemed a dark and unwelcoming our standard double room by comparison was light, newly carpeted , refurbished and comfortable. We had paid a very reasonable rate through booking.com and felt we had value for money! A lovely breakfast was...

We arrived at 10:30 after a five hour drive to find that our booking was not on the system. Their...

We arrived at around 7:30 in the evening after a longish drive from Essex. Parking was ample, free and in the grounds of the hotel. There was no one on reception as staff were busy serving in the restaurant. However, it was relatively easy to attract their attention and we were dealt with in a friendly and efficient manner.
