Stopped for work - there was a faint smell Of smoke from my room - which may have been someone in another room smoking. Rooms were clean, but the shower wasn't that powerful. The rooms were big enough but the decor was old. Staff were great though and very helpful and attentive would stop again if I managed to get...

Outside has the appearance of a 1970's concrete multi storey car park, and the interior decor lives up to these expectations. The rooms were dated, and the switch between the water for the bath / shower did not work properly allowing scalding hot water to continue coming out of the bath tap whilst showering. I only noticed when I stood...

A budget hotel which caters for Coach groups. In need of a makeover. The stark grey exteriors are not welcoming. Service friendly, food not too inspiring - functional. Great views from rooms higher up the building. Close to all main roads/NEC/Airport/motorways.

Don't let these "terrible" reviews put you off! It's really not that bad! Stayed here for one night and was expecting the worst after reading these reviews. The company I work for booked the hotel so I had no say in the matter although I was pleasantly surprised. My room (411) was spacious and although a single room was booked,...

Well that's how I feel. I am about to suffer my final night at this relic from the 70's. It's shabby, tired, threadbare and in need of either serious investment or a wrecking ball. It's also old, tired and knackered! I have barely slept for 2 nights because the room is hot in this weather (I know 30+ is rare...

clean , and cheap - you get what you pay for ! but couldn't believe it when asked if I wanted a smoking or non-smoking room ! used by MANY coach tour companies don't expect to book in early - told if I wanted my room before 2 o'clock , it would be £15 extra !!!!!

What a tip! Run down inside and out. Still a bad reminder when passing on A45. All the 'housekeepers' must do is change the beds. Gathered dust everywhere. Proper dump. Bad, grumpy service on the desk too. No go, no go!

This hotel is really really tired. It is beyond repair / renovation.the rooms have no air con, rubbish old aluminium secondary glazing , peeling wall paper . Musty smell throughout the hotel. Staff attitude is brilliant . The food is ok but nothing to shout about. The barmenu in the evening is better than the restaurant. It is worth no...

It is cheap and it was clean. It is indeed very dated (late 80s/early 90s) but that didn't bother me due to the price. However, the window in room 222 does not close and you hear all the traffic from the A45, which is far from ideal for a light sleeper.
