Booked a coach trip with a company we had travelled with before. Hotel name was not revealed until 5 days before departure. What a dump! Dust, cobwebs, dead flies in the lightshades and windows so mouldy you could culture penicillin on them. The outside appearance is appalling and the limited seating in the bar/ reception area consist of ripped seats/chairs,...

We arrived on Friday night at about 11pm. After spending 10 minutes checking in, the guy behind the desk couldn't find our room key. After locating it we were told where the lifts were. Heading to room 404 we couldn't help but notice the awful smell of the place. We were glad we were only staying 1 night. We arrived...

Had the misfortune to stay here for two nights. Upon arrival there was no-one on the reception desk and despite several pushes of the ringer I had to knock on the staffroom door to get attention. (To be told the ringer was broken). Got given a room that had not been cleaned and with the smell of epoxy resin from...

Indifferent staff , no problem worth their bothering with. Food not out of place in an institution. Slime coming out of the overflow when my daughter had a bath. Peeling wallpaper and a carpet that was worn and ragged. Misinformation about meal times. If it wasn't a national trip and I had more resources we would have left and booked into...

My wife and I read the reviews before we went and rang to cancel our booking, we were told we would not get any money back if we cancelled and the reviews did not do the hotel justice. I explained that we were in our 80's and really concerned about the accommodation but were assured that the hotel was great...

Stayed for 3 nights as part of National Holiday package, with the tours and DBB included cannot really complain at price paid. I would not personally choose to stay here again, the hotel is very dated and in desperate need of renovation. The meals were not brilliant, poor choice and not very hot. At least the rooms had nice clean...

After setting off on a national holiday trip with my 6 year old son the bus driver informed us that we were staying in this hotel. He mentioned that the hotel was about a 2 star and basic so fearing the worse I Googled the hotel and read some reviews. This made me dread arriving at the hotel after our...
