Great location, lovely aged yet modern hotel. Facilities were average. The bedding was too hard and stiff, woke up several times in the night. The bathroom door opens millimetres away from the toilet. Wifi strength poor and low availability, we ended up using our phone as a hotspot to watch a video on the iPad. Restaurant could do with some...

Stayed as part of a deal - dinner/bed and breakfast and entrance to Warwick Castle. Good value but hotel was awful. Room - stayed in the main building, which is good as the rooms at the back look like an army camp. However room very dated. There were 4 of us and to accommodate us in a 'family' room they...

We stayed at the Chace Hotel for 1 night this past weekend. Externally the original hotel building is full of character and is attractive, as are the grounds. The white 2 storey extension is very ugly and ruins the place. Internally, the place is very tired and scruffy and really does need a refurbishment. Some basic things that I would...

We arranged to go here (family of 6) to celebrate our daughters birthday. We had travelled down from Leeds to meet family. Haven't been here for several years but it really is a stunning building, OK it is in need of some TLC but the main building and foyer with wooden floors and amazing staircase is just so lovely and...

Checked in for a single night, and wouldn't want to stay for much longer actually. Room was tired and needed some TLC. And a good clean (left over food under the bed and dressing bench). Staff were friendly and helpful, unlike the room which had no welcome pack or instructions for the restaurant / wifi etc. Or how to call...

Stayed in this hotel on a family wowcher deal, with castle tickets. Rooms a little basic as we were put in the extension wing. Would have preferred one of the rooms you see on the website but as we were literally only resting our heads it did for us. Got dinner and breakfast included in our deal and i have...

Lovely historic building from the outside with some signs of its original grandeur. That's where the good news stopped. One of the worst bedrooms I have ever stayed in as part of the extension to the building. Presumably the planners had been on the beer the day they approved it because it looks like a 2 storey old portakabin attached...

This is the first time I've stayed here on business, incredible building from the outside which is carried on through the doors, with a grand opening and lovely staircase, has a very regal feel to it. I arrived at 1-ish pm and was informed check in wasn't until 2pm as the room would not be ready yet - which was...

It wasn't even close - to the second that I stepped into my dirty, horrible, smelly room I knew that I wouldn't get a lot of sleep. The room looks like it is from a 1950's dystopian comic book. The floor was sticky, the bathroom was filthy, the shower gave out what can only be described as a lukewarm dribble....
