Within easy reach of the Ricoh Arena we stayed here after a recent event. It has an imposing entrance to a delightful setting. The room was small but the cost of b&b was very competitive. Some wear and tear in places but overall we found the hotel very acceptable and would stay again if visiting the area. The only real...

Room, breakfast and dinner are all excellent. I stayed in the new building and the rooms were very well funished and comfortable. I think I would prefer to stay in the historic surroundings of the main building though.

The staff here are impeccable and the food is excellent, a very atmospheric stay. Our room although grand and comfortable, I would have preferred a room in the main building which would have had a bit more character and perhaps a better view. Was disappointed, although only a small thing, that there was no hairdryer. Breakfast and Tea was great...

Coombe Abbey was a beautiful Hotel the architecture is amazing as it was built around 1103 for monks. Dark panelling and if you're freaked out by gothic decor maybe not the place for you. Had a lovely curry in the bar the night we stayed. Only big disappointment was the afternoon tea, placed in a sunny conservatory, staff run like...

Wow..what a place.Having stayed in countless hotels for work or family occasions I wasnt expecting anything particularly different but Coombe Abbey was a major surprise! We went with friends and stayed overnight following a Medieval Banquet which was brilliantly organised by the crew running The Abbey Gate, a separate detached building within the grounds that is geared up for the...

This old abbey is a beautiful place, the approach is stunning and the front aspect is striking. The entrance lobby is really special with the main internal features of the old abbey building integrated with a front desk hotel operation,- very 'Hogwarts!'. The rooms in the main building are also very different, each individual room has its own interesting feature....

Very many thanks for taking the time to leave such a kind review following your recent stay here at Coombe Abbey. For your information all of our bedchambers do have opening windows. Wonderful surroundings, staff very attentive when we first arrived but it went downhill from there, staff not bringing the right order and then with parts of the correct order missing. Food was nothing special to write about and probably could have been found elsewhere for a fraction of the price.

What an unusual place this is? Steeped in history. A 'wow' entrance crossing a lake complete with waterlilies and a family of Swans and their cygnets. However what make this most pleasurable was the front of house staff, Cheryl and Manuel and their happy team - nothing was too much trouble, so friendly and engaging. Thank you for showing me...
