One of the first things I noticed in my room was a screwdriver left in the bathroom, soon after one of my colleagues jacuzzi bath turned on by itself & another colleagues bathroom ceiling started to leak. If only I knew plumbing I could have sorted it with my new tool because reception couldn't care less about the problems.

Saturday night 8th of March 2015 I and several friends stayed at this hotel. During the evening, whilst we were down having dinner, my mini ipad and a fabric bag containing chargers for the ipad, kindle and my phone, went missing. Despite calling the hotel 7 times no one is prepared to deal with this. The manager is, allegedly, on... More

The main thing to know is this hotel allows dogs in 'all' the bedrooms, so if you have any allergies, or do not want to sleep in a bedroom where dogs have been, don't go ! We did not know this , and the website do not make it clear, or that they host 'doggy' events. It was very full... More

This hotel was built in 1875 for the Hillman (of the car fame) family and became part of the Hotel group in 1975. I was attending a wedding ceremony at the hotel so decided to stay overnight. Got to reception and booked in, told you have to pay a charge for using a Debit card let alone a Credit card.... More

Stayed for 3 nights to visit family nearby. Hotel staff are very pleasant. At breakfast there's a good selection of hot food, cereal fruit and yoghurt. Rooms are a bit dated but large and comfortable would certainly stay again

We stayed in a family room at this hotel for 2 nights in February half term. We had dinner, bed and breakfast for a family of 4 with a free bottle of house wine on the first night on the Winter breaks deal for £89 per night. We were allocated a very spacious room on the ground floor with a... More

Checked in and although the receptionist was very polite she neglected to tell me I couldn't use the hotel facilities unless I paid an additional fee. I therefore found out when I work up early after a bad nights sleep to use the gym. The room was freezing and walls are paper thin so you can hear everything in the... More

Stayed here for five nights, as you approach hotel it looks rather nice as does the reception area, part of the hotel is also used as a gym for local residents in Coventry. When we arrived to book in there was only one person waiting at the reception who was being dealt with, twenty five minutes later we were still... More

We stayed at this hotel and were pleasantly surprised after reading some really negative reviews. The hotel staff were helpful and professional. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the food was well cooked and plentiful. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly staff We would certainly stay here again. Some people must stay at hotels and make a... More
