My partner and I have stayed here several times in the past and at just over £19 a night, on a weekend, it was awesome value for money. Basic but clean & comfortable. A nice no frills hotel...but that's when it was the Etap hotel. Now ibis have taken over, absolutely nothing has changed except it's £50+ a night on...

Stayed here for Birmingham Pride a very busy time. The staff were attentive. Checking in was quick and easy. Rooms were very clean. Lifts worked and purchasing goods at the reception shop were priced sensibly. For what we paid you couldn't find fault. Very happy to stay here again.

Myself and my 5 year old came for a last minute short city break. Check in was easy, the room was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed apart from tea and coffee making facilities in the room. I'd have happily paid extra for that convenience. Free wifi was especially useful to find things to do in the...

I spent 4 nights at the ibis Birmingham city centre hotel in May. It was peaceful and quiet and very conveniently located. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The wifi was "free" and worked well. The room is a comfortable size with a compact but practical bathroom/shower. The shower was an absolute dream. The only improvements I could suggest...

The hotel is well located in the city centre and only ten minutes from New Street station. Check-in was efficient. I received an email a few days before asking me to check-In online. On arrival we were handed a key card and quickly went to our room. The room is basic. Double bed with a bunk bed above it. There...

I stay here as I was in a business trip This looks like a hotel that workers use for a cheap stay as I saw a lot of working class. The room served its purpose. Although it was clean and did what it said on the tin, one night is enough. The room was very small and basic and clean,...

OK, so its minimalist but it had everything (except coffee making facilities) that you need for a short stay city break. It is very well organised, well run, immaculately clean, well designed and economical. We actually thought the futon bed thingy was very comfortable and the room was very quiet, and well arranged. it was cheaper for us to stay the...
