This hotel is located a ten minute or £6 Taxi ride from New Street railway station and the Bullring shopping centre. It has a car park (extra charge) and opposite is a coffee shop. It's not in a great area, but it's convenient to get into the city centre. For a two star hotel this is very clean, reliable and...

Stayed here for one night for the drake concert. We paid £45 which was very cheap for a night in Birmingham compared to other hotels. The room was bigger than expected with a TV, shower, separate toilet and separate sink area. It was basic however it was clean and modern. The lights could be controlled from the bed. The hotel...

Stayed at the hotel for two nights. Close to the town centre & the new Alexandra theatre (main reason for visit to Birmingham) Main downside to the hotel rooms is the fact that the shower cubical isn't in a separate room. Clean towels provided although bedsheets wasn't changed. No shower gel, shampoo, kettle or hairdryer but was expected due to...

Clean room, small but not bad for the price paid. Service rather flexible, drink making facility and microwave available for use at communal area. Location great, easy access to city centre. A cosy place for a short stay or city break. Even computer and printer for customer use as well, a nice found!

Friendly and helpful reception staff. Conveniently located on the edge of the city near Chinatown. Also, good independent coffee place opposite the main road. Hotel guests can request for hotel umbrellas in inclement weather. The rooms are very basic but comfortable.

Stayed here for the second time whilst in Birmingham to watch Kasabian at the o2 Academy. The hotel is perfect for the o2 as it's literally next door and great for Birmingham city centre to. For 45 pound for the room you can't really go wrong it may be basic but you get what you pay for. If staying in...

Stayed overnight here last night. What can say. Yes it is budget. Very basic. Don't expect any extras in the room ie. Shower gel.. hairdryers.. tea making etc. But the bed was comfy and it's the quietest hotel I think I've ever stayed in. Excellent for the hippodrome Wouldn't stay again but that's mainly to do with the area than...

I have stayed here on numerous occasions when I have visited Birmingham. Literally minutes to city centre, Hippodrome & Alex Theatres, in the idle of China Town, the outdoor market. 10 minutes from Birmingham library & the Barclay card arena areas. Staff are always friendly & helpful, buffet breakfast a good choice of cereals, toast, etc..

As titled this is a budget hotel, it was clean and comfy and convenient for the town centre, only problem no tea or coffee making facilities, rooms small but otherwise its basic, but for the price paid it was adequate.
