This is our second time at this hotel, the first visit was excellent please see my last review. On this occasion we booked through booking.com as the prices were high due to the Cricket being played at the Warwickshire grounds. On arriving at the hotel I noticed how busy it was and reception staff were stressed which surprised me. I...

The hotel was pre-booked for me as part of a package deal. Strengths - comfortable bed - sensational breakfasts - generally friendly and efficient staff Concerns - tired rooms (stained carpets and curtains) - securitiy keys (a constant frustation with the 'modern' hotel - they never work) I had to have my keys recoded on average once per day -...

Starting to look a bit dated. Foyer bar is a bit dull, however it's excellent located for everything in Birmingham. Close to all quarters of the City, only a few hundred yards from Birmingham New Street station.

We visited Birmingham for the Ashes at Edgbaston. From the first point of contact Phanella in bookings to every staff member we met - it was a superb experience. I had told Phanella we were celebrating and a bottle of Prosecco and some lovely chocs fruit and other goodies arrived in our very impressive room on the 14th floor. We...

We requested a high floor which we were given so had a great view towards Edgbaston. The room was large and the bed comfortable but the furnishings were showing some signs of wear. In the bathroom the shower is positioned over the bath. The bar, which serves light meals, was pretty soulless. The hotel is ideally positioned for the Bullring...

The food was excellent. However although the hotel was I nice I thought it was overpriced for the room and the bar was also very expensive. The room was very hot and the air conditioning wasn't very good. The room was looking a bit rough around the edges, chipped paint here and there. Could do with a bit of a...

Breakfast wonderful, rooms lovely spacious, spotless and well decorated which We've become accustomed to with Radisson. Had wonderful views especially night city lights at a considerable height.
