Visited in a large group for mothers day. The food was poor. . . .there was 4 roast beefs that had to be returned, food was cold, and all party was eating at different times. The service was terrible, staff could not speak or understand English and came across as rude, food and coffee was served over young childrens heads!....

4 of us went for lunch at the Eaton on Mother’s Day, not to celebrate the day but In Memory of a family member who died last year. The Eaton is a big hotel that do a lot of covers on a Sunday lunch time and Mother’s Day was no exception. It had been recommended to us so were more...

Stayed on a friday night with my girlfriend paying £85 for a double room including breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was easy and spacious. Room was spotless and the bed was big and comfy. Had a cracking full English breakfast in the morning.

Second time here and all went well. Rooms are basic but equipped adequately. I had a room near extractor fans from kitchen I presumed - fortunately these switched off in time for sleep. Good breakfast choices provided with fast service. Good value.

Nice hotel, good location close to the city centre. Plenty of free Peking spaces. Staff were friendly enough. Nice bathroom and decor. Bed was comfy. Main problem was noise levels. Could hear people walking past the room really clearly. Room itself was also quite cold. Breakfast was good. Okay for a night or two for the price.

Stayed here the weekend of 24/25 February as part of a party of Hens celebrating a forthcoming wedding. The hotel is in a great location, a few minutes from Birmingham City Centre meaning the younger ones in the group could go off for a late night to Broad Street leaving the rest of us to enjoy the hotel facilities. Check...

We are 2 couples who stayed here for one night and we were very impressed with the quality of the rooms and the friendliness of the staff. A special mention to Tracey, Roberto, Daniel, Rob and the 2 lovely ladies who served our excellent breakfast. We have already planned another visit.

What a really nice hotel, great situation and no problem with parking our car, being strangers to the area we left our car there for a while caught a bus just across the road into the centre of Birmingham to have a good look at the shops. The welcome we received on checking in was a lovely one and our room,...

I have settled on this Hagley Road hotel, by far the best of the bunch in my experience, when I go to Edgbaston for cricket. Again well looked after and good value for what it is; i.e. much closer to boutique hotel standard than most of the Hagley Road hotels, but competitively priced. Have booked again for this summer and...
