Was at Christmas function which our organisation has held here for a number of years. Why they do is beyond me as following tick list will explain. We arrived 19.15 for a pre dinner drink and queued at a tobacco kiosk hole in wall manned by one disinterested member of staff charging full extortion price despite a discounted price having...

Hotel is good and exactly as you expect from holiday inn. Good bar/coffee shop area along with function rooms etc. Car parking available but charagble to guests which I don't agree with despite it being subsidised. Marco Pierre white restaurant here - food was good but service terrible......especially as it wasn't that full!

The hotel is long in the tooth and not particularly well maintained. The sports facilities poor. The Jacuzzi was out of order. No sauna or steam room. But the hotel was busy - full of people. Buzzing. The staff were friendly. And the bedroom comfortable. 3 nights for £280 was expensive for what one gets.

Stayed here before and never had any issues..restaurant and bar has been refurbished and looks good. Check in service was good.. Shuttle bus to airport is great just need to remember this takes you to the station where you catch the monorail but it beats parking and a taxi which would cost 12 pounds but only 15 mins all round....

I arrived at 00.40 on a Saturday morning. I had requested a quiet room. When I was handed the keys to Room 101, I queried if that would be quiet as I thought it would be directly next to Reception. I was reassured that it was quiet and the room was located on the lower floor level. When I arrived...

I was pleasantly surprised to get a decent room and facilities given that single travellers pay a supplement but still often end up in sub standard facilities in some hotel chains. Sadly the experience was tempered by no central heating and the room was icy ,not helped by me turning the controller up to maximum whilst I went to eat....

Groundfloor rooms 25x and 26x series very good, seemed renovated recently. Spacious because of facilities for disabled persons. Very comfy bed. One comment the water pressure in the shower was poor. Good shuttle to NEC, airport. Good breakfast, was only very busy on Saturday. Pool is nice. Be aware there can be events such as a noisy wedding. Staff is...

Booked for one night, stayed in an executive room which was nice. Car park was very full on arrival. Service was pretty good at reception, in the bar and at breakfast. Didn't eat at night so can't comment on that.
