This is my families second visit to the hotel and I'll be going back next year. The rooms are warm, clean and comfy with great facilities. The staff are friendly and helpful, ordering a taxi for us to the market was no problem. At night had a nice drink in the bar and in the morning we had a lovely...

We stayed for one night. Booked 4 rooms. The staff were friendly. The food was acceptable. The rooms were fine. Warm and quiet. (Although one room was overlooking the main road and had traffic noise). Beds are on the small size. The main building is old and in need of renovation . There are newer rooms at the back accessed...

My husband and I were bought a dining experience as a gift and the Edgbaston Palace hotel was one of the venues on offer. The menu we were given was advertised as a tasting menu when in fact it was the cheapest items from the bar and restaurant menu. We ate a small amount of food that was brought to...

Walking to room each corridor had a range of smells from musky stench to chicken manure. Room key didnt work eventually got in to a stench like a rugby players changing rooms, TV hanging off wall, decor from a 90's OAP home. Radiator in room whistled all night like a stove kettle. Restless nights sleep woken by slamming doors and...

Stayed here for 2 nights with my sister we were attending our Aunts funeral. I emailed asking for an early check and was informed I would have to book the night before our arrival to get an early check in. We did this as we need to shower and change, the hotel was half empty so all they are interested...

- Dirty yellow stained duvets - Hairs were found all over the bed sheets - Poor old mattresses on all four beds, gave me a back ache - Smelly linen - Broken bathroom sink - The car park entrance is shut at night (10ish pm on wards), so if you are checking-in late then you would struggle to find a...

When we stayed here at New Years Eve 2015 (going into 2016) we thought "great location, great price". Firstly they take the exact amount of the stay from you and "hold it" and then expect you to pay on the day as well so for 4 of us it ended up being £300 in total. In addition they double booked...

Booked a family room for 5, room was very large and clean, great for a family, bathroom needs updating due to loose tiles on the floor, before arriving I asked for a cot for my 1yr old, cot wasn't in the room when I arrived, the hotel did bring one when I re-asked again, but no bedding for it, when...

I was booked into this hotel due to lack of availability in the City Centre, this hotel is situated a few miles out on the busy Hagley Road, there is a secure car park but this is closed between 22:00 and 05:30, After reading the reviews I did not have high expectations of this hotel and rightly so from checking...

We booked this hotel for our 44th wedding anniversary. Close to Birmingham centre. The bedroom was in an annexe across a beautiful courtyard. Very quiet, very pleasant room. Hotel staff all very caring, helpful and hardworking. Food was good, plentiful and arrived quickly. We had 2 dinners which were good. Bar was excellent and the young barman very on the...
