Located in an area of central Birmingham currently undergoing redevelopment, so surrounded by extensive building works (no night noise except usual traffic). The hotel itself is dated and due for replacement so understandably has had little investment of late. This has some good results eg you can operate the lifts without room cards, ditto your room lights! I stayed for...

Had a one night stay over with work, its an embarrassment to class this as a 4* hotel very very dated and in desperate need of investment, much better options locally for the price. £12 for parking, £5 for WiFi Location is good

We have stayed at this hotel several times over the years, but had not been recently so were a bit worried about the poor reviews. The location is excellent for visits to the Symphony hall, etc. and gives easy access to the canal areas and also the main shopping areas, so we booked again. We had a club room at...

This hotel although perfectly positioned for our night out to the barclaycard arena, is the worst hotel we have stayed in within this price(y) bracket. £150 Saturday night room only rate for a double for two persons, was dull, dreary and in need of a refurb. The carpet was threadbare in places, and the bathroom old fashioned with a faulty...

Location: Brilliant location in terms of getting out and about the city centre. Walking distance from Broad Street and it is possible to walk to the Bullring if you're feeling fit! However currently there are severe road works going on around the hotel so accessing it is a bite of a mare. Parking: The hotel car park is tiny and...

I never complain on review sites but I feel this hotel deserves my first! I stayed here with my partner and in laws plus my own parents who were visiting Birmingham for the first time. We had lots to celebrate including birthdays. The celebrations were short lived when we arrived at 3pm - keeping in mind check in is at...

If I had known about the roadworks engulfing this hotel I would not have stayed here. After missing the v poorly signed gap in the traffic cones, it took another 20 mins to go back around the one way system- almost missed it a second time except I decided I didn't care if I ended up on a building site...

Paradise Circus is undergoing major development so there is a lot of building work going on and as the hotel is due to be demolished in 2/3 years time there is no money being spent on it so it's looking tired. Service is still good and the staff are helpful and if you can put up with the disruption it...
