Stayed here before and found all staff very helpful, friendly and polite. Easy access to main routes and car park near to hotel. Very comfortable room and food very nice. Will return and always stay here when on business.

The room was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed and very quiet (the room faced the back of NCP parking and was at the back of the hotel, third floor). The location is amazing, specially if you need to catch a train early in the morning from New Street as it's literally a 2 minute walk. The staff was...

I stayed at the hotel on a Friday and Saturday night in March. It is clear that the hotel has been updated and they are slowly making their way up the floors. The reception area is very welcoming and the staff very friendly and helpful. There was only one lift from Reception working, which was frustratingly slow and tested a...

My wife and I stayed for one night at this hotel on 18/3/17. Our room and bathroom were scrupulous. Bed was very comfortable and the room had tea making facilities with a fridge. All of the staff we were in contact with were pleasant and anxious to please. Breakfast the following morning was excellent with a great choice on the...

Stayed at the Holiday Inn City Centre Birmingham for 5 nights. Good things first..the hotel is excellently located at a walking distance from the Birmingham New street railway station (a rail station and a decent shopping mall bundled into one). The front desk is a warmly set up with cozy seating around and fantastic bar and Starbucks. The reception is...

The location of the hotel is very good and central. It is just few minutes walk from the station and the shopping malls. Room was very clean but beds are very small. Staff were friendly and helpful. Wifi is free. In general, it is a very good budget hotel.

I have read some of the other reviews and wondered if they were of the same hotel! I managed to get an online deal of a King Deluxe including breakfast for £128 and was really pleased with the decor and value for money. The room was on floor 'R' on the lower level. No street noise and no noise from...

Only issue we had was only 1 lift was working but all in all, a great hotel. Easy to get to from Birmingham New Street Station (1 minute walk), and easy to get to many places in and around Birmingham. Lovely breakfast self service with a great selection of hot and cold food.

Third person in check in queue at 9.20pm, someone jumped on a second before my turn would have arisen. At bedtime I realised my room was too warm, the thermostat advised me to contact reception. Nobody answered. Nor did they answer on the porters line. Not on the Housekeeping line either. So I rang the restaurant. The chef said he'd...
