Nice fresh looking rooms, good breakfast and the best posdible location summarizes this hotel for me. Bullring and central railway station virtually next door. Loving my stay. Definitely book this one again.

Don't be fooled by the high prices and the nice plush reception and bar area. The rooms are terribly dated, draughty and in desperate need of modernisation. The room is was first put in was next to the lift shaft, so the bed shook each time the lift went past. The carpet had holes in it and the curtains wouldn't...

Be careful when the bar staff tell you to "take a seat, we will bring your drinks over". There is no mention at any point that there is a fee to get your drinks bought, only on inspection of your receipt do you realise that you have been fleeced. There is already a healthy profit on the drinks before they've...

Stayed for the weekend for my sons stag weekend. We were made very welcome and the friendly staff and attentive management made the stay that much better . The helped us with transport and could not do enough for us. One downside, the hot breakfast. The sausage buyer at ICH must be a vegetarian. It was voted by all in...

Saturday night was very busy and very noisy resulting in a disturbed night followed by a long queue for Breakfast only to find a shortage of everything. Sunday night was the exact opposite, all the trips/groups had gone home and we had an enjoyable night with a good sleep followed by a good breakfast. Avoid rooms on floor S as...

This stay was certainly a tale of two nights. We arrived on the Saturday and were initially impressed with the Reception and Bar Area which was modern and airy. We were allocated our room which turned out to be very noisy due to the proximity of the lift. We asked to move, which they did, to another room further along...

Large hotel, very conveniently located to New Street Station, Bullring, Grand Central, Mailbox and other attractions. Relatively easy to find. Check-in was swift and efficient and my room was available over an hour early, which was fantastic. Rooms are slightly larger than average with a huge bed, although it certainly isn't the most comfortable bed I've slept in. Bedrooms are...

The hotel itself is fine; clean and looks in good condition following its refurb. Take note of the warning about noise level though. I'm writing this at 4.45am having been awake since 3.20am. The first floor rooms facing the road are noisy with cars and people shouting following a night out. I've stayed in many city centre hotels but this...

The hotel is clean the staff are friendly but there was just lots of little things that have not quite been right. The wifi is awful and in some parts of the building non existent not a major issue unless you're travelling on business as I was. The corridors are very discerning and play with your head they look like...

This hotel is undergoing some significant improvements at the moment and the new lobby area is much nicer however this still need to filter through to the bedrooms and hadn't in the room I stayed in. Additionally I had booked a double room but on arrival was checked in to a twin which unfortunately led to a patchy nights sleep.
