We arrived in the middle of what we took to be a children's birthday party, with perhaps thirty under fives milling round our knees in reception alone. In fact, it turned out to be Sunday carvery with special deals for kids... Very acceptable hotel, rooms well appointed, clean, power shower. Staff friendly and organised. Food in the restaurant nowhere near...

From start to finish the service and all the staff were faultless ... Seated very quickly and food was sent out in good time! Nothing was a problem for them, after asking for extra vegetables and sauce they were out within minutes. Bar staff very friendly and happy to help. Kids under 4 eat free, and got a present from...

Had a meal just and was very average. Service was like factory speed and the desserts were tasteless with exception of the crumble which was not homemade (didnt state homemade on the menu) but basic dish anyhow. Service was fine apart from the speed. Good hospitality is to take a bit of time between course so people can chat and...

Went with a group of friends last night (19th December) for a Christmas party which included a disco. The food and service was very good, better than expected from catering en masse, particularly enjoyed the chocolate pudding!! DJ was excellent, played some sing along stuff while we finished eating then played a great set which kept everyone on the dance...

Terrible, terrible, terrible. I went with 11 colleagues last Tuesday. The entertainment was ok,but the food and service was shocking! The buffet was supposed to be chicken tikka masala, lamb jalfrezi and a chick pea curry. We all assumed that we could try some of each, but no,we were only allowed one spoonful of rice and one spoonful of one of the curries. The...

We booked afternoon tea to celebrate Dad's 70th birthday. I cannot find a single fault. The service was quick, polite and smiley, the food was delicious and very plentiful and as much tea that you could wish for. The Manager even paid us a visit to say hello and asked my 7 year old son if he fancied some chips,...

I've stayed here now three times in recent months. I travel to Redditch regularly for work and this is the nicest hotel in the area. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with large beds and room to work if you need to. Staff are friendly and the restaurant is small with excellent food. The hotel is in a quiet location yet...

Stayed here a couple of times, well priced via Booking.com Friendly and efficient welcome, yes the hotel is a little dated in places but rooms are fine, more than comfortable enough and well finished Free wifi throughout and good food and breakfast is well priced at a £10 (pre-booked) Yes I would recommend and stay again!
