We chose the Westmead hotel for convenience, after a funeral. We meet prior with Simon, C&B manager who planned our event. Simon was professional and sensitive. We arrived earlier than expected which did not cause an issue, everything was in place. I was greeted by Gail, Duty Manager, again professional and sensitive on this sad occasion. The buffet we had chosen...

I have stayed here in the past and now again. Ample safe car parking with comfortable rooms. The decor is modern and well maintained. My issue on my previous stay was the slow service in the restaurant with the standard of food not matching the prices charged. Unfortunately, this time round there has not been any improvement. I feel that...

We did not stay at this hotel, so are unable to rate it from a residential angle. We visited their Blake's Restaurant for a Valentine's Day Candle-lit Dinner. An enjoyable experience. Very good ambience, nicely decorated, good food, well cooked. Staff were very friendly, attentive and competent. Would certainly go again.Fine dining and value for money.

I stayed as part of a business trip, choosing this over a grander hotel with poor reviews. It started off so well, looked smart with a great reception. A few too many stairs to get to the room and no sign of a lift - cases are heavy you know and my 49 year old knees none to happy with...

Visited for a wedding. Wedding was good with lots of input of a professional manner from the hotel staff. Wedding meal was really good. Hot food and plenty of well cooked veg. Evening supper also very good and would please almost all people. Hotel bedroom was a little dull looking. However the bed was great. Had a really wonderful sleep....

My wife and I booked a Cadbury World package with the hotel stopping over on the Saturday night. The hotel itself is very nice, clean and relatively modern. The staff were quite friendly and helpful too. On the Sunday the breakfast was nice (despite running out of sausages, much to my sons disappointment). I wouldn't stop there again however, or...

Went for what was supposed to be a relaxing weekend with my partner and we decided to go to Motorcycle Live too. The hotel looked lovely on arrival, clean, modern and warm. Welcome was nice and the staff seemed very professional. We were told where our room was so went off to find it. We were on the ground floor/lower...

This is my third stay out of 4 for a training course staged at the hotel. I went to bed around 11pm, only to be awoken by a couple of guys moving chairs around outside my room after 12am. All I could hear was scratching and bangs from the chair stacks being moved, and then one guy gets on his...

My girlfriend and I stayed here for one night and we were really impressed. The staff were lovely and friendly, dinner was nice, room was perfect and overall we were very happy. Really convenient, we were heading off for an early morning flight and the porter derlivered the breakfast to our room earlier than was specified. Would stay again.

All the staff are very friendly and helpful. They went the extra mile to make our evening great. The chef went out of his way to cater for my granddaughter who is gluten free. A weekend to remember. Thanks to you all.
