Staying here for a two day conference we were immediately impressed by the warm welcome, friendly approach and calm surroundings. The range of bedroom facilities varied from spacious family rooms to fairly small single rooms but all were clean and comfortable. The food was excellent and plentiful, with clear lists of allergens and good provision for vegetarians and vegans. All...

I stayed at Woodbrooke as a last minute booking as I wanted a place nearer to university. What an amazing and wonderful place to stay. It is not a hotel in the traditional sense, more like hostel, and it is not a stay but an experience. I stayed only one night but wished had stayed longer to see the open...

I stayed at Woodbrooke for one evening with my daughter. She had an interview at Birmingham medical school and Woodbrooke was ideal as it was a short 7 minute drive away. The room was clean, cosy and well - equipped. The beds were very comfy and the tea and coffee-making facilities were excellent. The best thing, however, was the calm...

I stayed at Woodbrooke B&B twice over 2 separate weekends as I was on a course in Birmingham. It was perfect. My single bedroom was a great size with a large study desk and it was extremely quiet. Most rooms don't have TVs but there is more than one communal TV room at the property. The gardens there are stunning...

I stayed here for several days following a conference held at this location. The building is old, with many parts added on at different times and it can seem like something of a warren upstairs. Most of the rooms are en-suit, warm (it was November when I was there) with comfortable beds. While I was there the building was very...

Although this is a Quaker Study centre you can just book b & b. I was working near the University & Woodbrooke is 8 mins drive. It is a place of calm in the rush of Birmingham with a very friendly welcome. Very clean & warm & a competitive price.

The grounds are fantastic, the house is beautiful and the food superb. Touches such as tea and coffee freely available, the library nd the worship, made it special We...

Couldn't be better. friendly and non intrusive. Able to sit in beautiful lounge and help oneself to tea and cake etc. Gluten free and vegan automatically available at Tea, and always an option at meals, but let them know too. Meals are organic and freshly cooked and at least as good as at home. Beautiful grounds. Perfect lounge with books...
