Positives..... Reasonable price, good location, pleasant reception staff, room warm and adequate Negatives Spa /pool /sauna and jacuzzi where dirty and in need of serious renovation, there was brown scum floating on the jacuzzi, and it was overloaded with chemicals that burned our eyes, the sauna and steam room are situated in the corridor between the changing rooms, the grid that...

Arrived and was greeted warmly, the place does not look 3 star, paint chipping off wall, questionable lift with no lights working but it was somewhere to rest our head for the night. After a great night in Birmingham we returned to the hotel, my boyfriend had taken his shoes off as they were tight and carried them into the...

Me and my friends stayed here to watch busted at the o2 academy and it did the job. For the price we paid we can't complain, free parking, clean room, standard set up (shower room and toliet, TV, tea and coffee making facilities). Okay so maybe the kettle doesn't fit under the sink, but the shower fills it up fine,...

We did the Cadbury world tour and booked this hotel as part of the package. The hotel is not 5 stars but then doesn't claim to be. The receptionist was friendly and helpful when we arrived. We stayed in room 171 on the 1st floor, slightly detached from the main block. The rooms are closely packed together however was a...

On the whole the price is not bad for it's location, but it has seen better days. The room was not too bad, but why have a WC that in it's day would have been quite expensive, with a new toilet seat that is total rubbish & falls off when you sit on it. The shower fitting is back to...

As a lone woman traveler I felt vulnerable in this hotel. Lots of drunk workmen lolling around the foyer. It was shabby, noisy, very dated and not what I had expected - the photos must have been taken 10 years ago.

Booked this as it looked nice on the website, was very disappointed. Decor old and tired and not like pictures. Bed very uncomfortable and ended up sleeping on top of the bed as lying on duvet helped. Very noisy- could hear every time people turned taps on, flushed toilets, opened doors that seemed to be alarmed- awake from 6 am....

Avoid this hotel at all cost. The rooms are dated and need a complete refurb. They smell of dampness, the toilets and bathrooms need a complete revamp and not clean at all The toilet seats don't fit the pan, the tiles have chipped grout and a few broken here and there You need to pay to use the swimming pool...
