We just called in for Sunday lunch and the meal was inedible. No flavour, all steam cooked. I was hungry so ate a little of it. The meat I took home for my dog. Dont know what the hotel accommodation is like but I wouldn't risk it.

My room was A Midsummer Nights Dream, no room numbers but all Shakespeare themed rooms..... I reckon it was last decorated by the 'Bard Of Avon' himself. 2nd floor room, as I...

We were given the Romeo and Juliet Suite, which was a surprise in itself but a very welcome one. The room was huge with a large four poster bed which was also very high. I was surprised to need to use one of the lovely pouffe's as a step to get in and out of the bed! My much taller...

Just walked from Stratford along the canal to have a coffee and toilet break in the 'open all day' Mary Arden Inn. The time was 11.45am and a heavy shower started. All doors locked!! Another elderly couple arrived with the same idea, being told it was open all day. A man opened the door and told us he wasn't open....

Fine, no major problems but the WiFi does not work. The hotel is in a tiny village about four miles from the centre of Stratford. So if you have a car it's fine as a base for visiting Stratford-upon-Avon.

We went for something to eat after visiting the area with our nervous dog. The staff were very friendly and let us have our own space so our dog could feel relaxed. Water bowl for the dog and a great warm fire. Food was fantastic and plentiful! Nice combination of relaxing settees and tables to dine. Locals were friendly and...

The breakfast was more than ample and evening meal was really tasty. Could not fault this Inn at all. Well done to all the very hard working staff, we will definitely...

We stayed here for one night while visiting the theatre in Stratford. Arriving early we asked if we could leave the car in the car park for the day while we went into Stratford and this was fine. We came back later to check in and were shown to our room...what a lovely surprise it was to find the Romeo...

Stayed the night before wedding at Billsley Manor Hotel. Really enjoyed our stay. Lovely welcome. Beautiful room- The Romeo and Juliet suite. Gorgeous four poster bed. Large attractive bathroom with jacuzzi bath. Quiet. Staff really helpful - helped us order a Chinese as we were a bit late to order food on arrival. Would definitely recommend this place.
