My family and I (from Washington, USA) first stayed at Moss Cottage in 2010 when visiting Shakespeare country. My children were 2 and 5. It so exceeded my expectations, that I said we'd stay again should we make it back. And 2013, we booked again. My children were 5 and 8. Bill was just so kind to our family. The...

The Owner was charming, helpful and a fantastic breakfast chef! The scrambled eggs are worth returning to England for! His knowledge of the city was a great help to us. The cottage was quaint, well tended and clean. We will certainly return to Moss Cottage when next in England. I recommend that you book this B&B when in the area........

I had a wonderful visit at this B&B. Great care was taken over my comfort. The hosts are fabulous, the rooms are comfortable and clean, and the location is excellent for getting around Stratford. I plan to go back as soon as possibly can!

On arrival we were greeted with a smile, welcomed with tea and cake and Bill immediately gave us much of his valuable time to describe the Shakespeare attractions as well as the social attractions in Stratford upon Avon. He listened to our ideas about how we wished to utilise our 48 hours and his local knowledge shone through by being...

My husband and I unexpectedly arrived on the doorstep of Moss Cottage to be warmly greeted by Bill, our host for the evening. Tea and conversation made a delightful change from hotel greetings. Bill's knowledge and wonderful anecdotes of Stratford-on-Avon enhanced our early morning walk along the old streets enormously. His recommendation for dinner at The Bell pub was also...

Me and my wife stayed at Moss Cottage for a weekend break and found Bill very welcoming and knowledgeable about Stratford: over tea and cake he told us about the different walks you could do, pubs to eat at etc. The bed was comfy, mattress very good, and breakfast was great. The yoghurt and granola and fruit mix set you...

This is the second time we've enjoyed the wonderful hospitality at Moss Cottage. Bill is the kindest, most welcoming host one could wish for - it's like staying with a friend. His homemade cakes, jams and breakfast yoghurt are delicious. A short walk from the town centre and the theatres, this is the perfect place to stay in Stratford. We...

This was my second visit, and as before I was made very welcome by Bill the host, who remembered me from my previous visit and offered me cake and a cup of tea on my arrival. Moss Cottage is a little further out than some B+B's, but the walk into town is quite an agreeable way to start the evening....
