We stayed for 2 days for Valentines day. Lovely hotel, all the staff were lovely including the manager. The hotel is spotless and the bedroom was so comfortable with a fab bathroom. The breakfasts were great, and the evening meals superb. A lovely old building but with modern facilities. I wish all hotels were like this one.

I haven't stayed here yet but whoever handles their bookings is really helpful. Bookingbutton changed my dates from June to February and the staff at the White Swan were very helpful and accommodating. I spoke to someone on the phone who was very kind and even though he couldn't help (it was the middle of the night there, I'm in...

What an absolute little gem this place is! The room was superb, spotless, clean and really lovely decorated! The shower was amazing! Check in was smooth and we were welcomed with a warm smile! We enjoyed the Bar Menu in the evening for food which was absolutely delish! The Red Wine selection was great and all very reasonably priced. The...

We stayed for the first night of a ten day trip. Could not have had nicer accommodations! Lovely room, lovely helpful staff, easy pay-to-park, breakfast included. If there were 6 stars available, I would give The White Swan that.

Stayed here for our wedding anniversary. Room was really nicely done out with roll top bath, chandelier style lights, comfortable bed and a modern TV and media hub. Location is superb - on the edge of the town centre and five minutes walk to the river and Royal Shakespeare Company. Despite this, we had no problems with noise. The dining...

We loved staying at the White Swan. The hotel and pub are a great mix of traditional and modern. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and there was great attention to detail. The rooms were comfortable and cosy, the housekeeping staff did a great job. Breakfast was perfectly good although the staff started to struggle when it got really busy. We went...

We stayed here for a weekend break and the room was really lovely..especially the roll top bath. Staff were great and I would definitely return soon. Location wise was very central to the town centre. The only negative is you had to pay to park your car in a public car park nearby.

This is a superb hotel, quintessentially British... just beautiful. Room was delightful, Restaurant was really lovely and cosy with lots of little hideaway areas.. if you want to sit quiet and go un noticed. Food and service were excellent. Served by a young man who had a good knowledge of the history of the building, super friendly and efficient. Cannot...

Booked the room and asked for an early check in. Had a reply from the hotel to say they would try but could not guarantee. Check in is at 15:00 pm and we wanted to arrive at 12:00 pm to spend most of the day at Stratford. Arrived around 12:00 pm and phoned the hotel to be told the room...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Our hotel offers luxury accommodation in Stratford-upon-Avon, while crucially maintaining the charm, character and period features of the original building. The White Swan dates back to 1450, making it one of the oldest pubs in Stratford – and the front of the hotel is a cosy, traditional pub, continuing to serve outstanding cask ales and the best pub food in town. Our 41 four star guestrooms, marry traditional, original features with modern conveniences like iPod docks, flatscreen TVs and ensuite bathrooms. One thing not to miss on your visit to this historic Straford-upon-Avon pub is the antique wall painting in one of our front rooms.
