We've stayed at this hotel a number of times in the past and always look forward to returning. The location is so central with most of the famous sites and town centre shops a ten minute walk away. On this occasion we walked into reception only to be offered a free upgrade to a suite! On the second night we...

I stayed with a friend for one mid-week night. The room was a standard twin in the old part of the hotel, not overly large but clean and tidy. The lady on reception when checking in was very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was a very good buffet of hot and cold with the added advantage of having freshly cooked...

We booked a classic room and were offered an upgrade for a small extra payment. Imagine our surprise to find it was a suite! It was amazing with a very large lounge area and an equally large bedroom with a four poster bed. The rooms were lovely; very clean and comfortable. We had room service and althought the room service...

We enjoyed our stay, the history of the hotel is dated Shakespeare time. Location is very close to Shakespeare's tourist attractions and in the center of Stratford Upon Avon. Friendly staff particularly Anais, thank you for recommending the King Fisher Restaurant when we asked you for good fish & chip in the area. Thank you for the wonderful experience. Highly...

We stay in the area on a regular basis but had not stayed at the Shakespeare before. We booked on this occasion as we had our dogs with us and because it was so central. We specifically requested Privilege Room for the added extras, and when phoning to make the reservation, I asked for a larger room as we had...

We were able to check in a bit early as our train arrived early but, no problem as the room was ready. The front desk guy was very helpful putting us in a room over the street where festivities were taking place account it being Wm Shakespeare's BD. Thankfully, it was just a parade etc but quiet by bedtime. The...

Just one night between a pair of RSC plays and Shakespeare Birthplace Trust tour. Staff were magnificent. Car park had space at £10 a day. Room was spaceous and well appointed. Bed was comfortable . Breakfast was alright but not the best - bacon hard and dry. Tomatoes were undercooked. But HGVs started up outside at 6 o'clock in the...

Booked a privilege room through booking.com as we got a great rate. Charming hotel right in the middle of town which was perfect for exploring this beautiful place. Very quite at night so you will get a decent sleep, the four poster bed we had was very comfortable also. They have Nespresso machines in the rooms which is a really...

Stayed here for one night in April - booked primarily for the location. It's right in the middle of the town and easy walking distance to attractions, shops and restaurants. Hotel itself is very old, dated and tired. Decor inside could certainly do with a refurbish - certainly nothing modern about the place. Very old creaky flooring and uneven. That...
