The Arden Hotel is exceptionally well managed, with very friendly and accommodating staff. The location is wonderful, the food is wonderful, the rooms are wonderful. There is a highly professional yet friendly atmosphere and absolutely nothing is too much trouble. We went for a 10th wedding anniversary in Stratford-upon-Avon and on our arrival were led to our room by a...

I have stayed in many hotels around the world and this will be right up there with the best of them. 2 night stay was a gift from my mother so we added our stay on a to the end of a camping trip. Talk about extremes! From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very special by...

Charged £99 for not staying there The hotel manager Simona was unable to offer me a refund or credit note for the £99 taken from my bank account. Very disappointed in their customer service standards which seem to be indicative of their money-grabbing attitude. The expedia booking system must have saved an incorrect date and so i was charged £99...

The Hotel is perfect if you want to cross the road , and go to the Royal Shakespeare Theatre to see a play... not so good if you are disabled with mobility issues! otherwise it was fine-lovely (and huge) bathrooms, spotless rooms , and a quiet lounge for guests, in the modern style. I believe there is a room on...

We all really enjoyed our stay. The Arden is perfectly situated by the river and very close to the theatre in lovely Stratford. The hotel car park is extremely convenient. Check in was easy. The staff very pleasant. Our rooms were well appointed, cleanly presented and comfortable. The towels of good quality as were the toiletries. If I stay again...

If you're seeing a show at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre (and you are, aren't you?), you'd be crazy to stay anywhere else. Large, well-appointed rooms; great location; very helpful staff; tasty food after the show. Really, one of my favorite hotels anywhere!

We were delighted upon finding this hotel, exactly what we wanted.Room was gorgeous with lovely extras. The first disappointment was arriving at the bar to find a beer line cleaning going on. Not a bad thing, but our presence wasn't even acknowledged-the gent cleaning the lines made more of a noise when he splashed himself in the face. We retreated...

It is quite hard to find fault with the Arden - a pretty character property which for theatre folk and tourists ideal as it's bang in the centre of the very civilised town of Stratford. It also has it's own parking which is a bonus and free to residents. We stayed in the Monkey Puzzle room (which according to some...

It would be difficult to find fault with this hotel. The staff go the extra mile and are always obliging. The afternoon tea was delicious and all the sandwiches and cakes were made with care. The two dinners we had were well presented and very tasty, and the breakfasts catered for every palette. My only criticism would be the wine prices...

This is an excellent hotel. Its facilities were very good indeed and the staff were obliging in every way. Our afternoon tea was high quality and so generous we had to delay our dinner reservation!
