This place is very much what you'd expect. It's a budget hostel with basic facilities. We stayed here a few months ago and don't really have too many complaints. The staff don't seem overly helpful but by no means rude. The rooms are fine, there's space for your things and the beds aren't bad. The bathrooms are kind of like...

I stop at the hostel with a group of friends for a weekend in December, which we had a room of 10 to ourselves. The room was small but big enough for our needs during our stay. The bunk beds were comfortable and seemed clean but didn’t have enough lighting and electrical sockets per bed than we have come to...

Ok stay - have stayed in other Euro hostels in Glasgow and have to say Newcastle was in worse condition. Very small basic rooms with en suite. Budget accommodation - you get what you pay for. Location was key for us and very good value.

I have never in my life had such a negative and hurtful experience as I had at this sorry excuse for a hotel. Firstly, I arrived back to my room after a quiet night out in Newcastle to find that I had been evicted from my room without any warning to me. I was informed by my roommates that they...

I have never been treated and talked to the way I was at this hostel. The night staff Tom and security guard Courtney are the most aggressive and unreasonable people I have ever come across in my life. When we arrived the lady on the front desk was lovely, helped us with some good places to go. She also suggested...

Absolutely disgusting experience from this place! The place was filled with excited young people and screaming girls up and down the halls so, we expected to enjoy our stay. I stayed in a room of 10 people so as expected the noise level was probably slightly more than a room of 3 or 4. A staff member who said his...

Extortionists, abusive and severely lacking in customer service skills! We paid £600 for a two night stay in a 10 bed private room plus a £270 security deposit, an overpriced room that was way off description. The room had no heating and a draught coming through the window. After our first night on the toon we informed reception of our...
