The best thing about this hotel is the subterranean car park. Eyebrows were raised while riding the dirty elevator to the shabby reception area, I thought perhaps we had mistakenly gone into a backpackers hostel. But no, the corporate colours were in evidence. Check in quick and

Clean, central. Rooms should really have more than 2 teabags and 2 coffee sachets when 2 people are booked in, minor flaw really! Plenty well priced restaurants nearby. Great for a weekend break with friends.

Friendly welcoming staff and excellent service. Clean comfortable rooms Our second stay at the hotel I definitely recommend it. Great position next to the river. The chef went out of his way to cook my breakfast earlier due to a hospital appointment.

Dusty curtains in our room.
This was the dust on the curtain in our room. It wasn't just at the hem, it was all over and thick enough to write in
how far is it from railway station
We jumped in a taxi as it was quite late and we had luggage - only £4. 10min walk if you are travelling light.

The car park is actually under the hotel located in the basement accessed through wrought iron gates which are electrically operated. The market is on the street along the quayside...great market by the way and well worth a browse. Enjoy!

Hi, how far in advance can you book your car parking?
Hi there...we booked the car park when we booked the hotel and that was a good three months before we stayed. I'm sure if you phoned them they'd take your booking well in advance. It is certainly worth the car park fee and booking in advance as there are not many spaces due to it being in the basement of the hotel accessed by electrically operated gates. Have a good stay!
