A very plaesant and comfortable stay, a great location for the Gateshead Sage. Staff are very helpful and polit. Car parking is very safe and secure behind a locked gate for added reassurance, I would advise ringing the hotel and booking a car parking space in advance due to the limited number of spaces, it is £7.00 for 24 hours

A recently refurbished hotel, the rooms were beautiful. In our double room comfy armchair with no usual sofa. Bathroom had a wonderful shower with a big head spray and new fitments. The restaurant, although quite large offered privacy in the way it was set up, and we had no problems reserving a large table each time for our group of...

When we arrived there was poo and toilet roll still in the toilet, what appeared to be stick, up the wall, pubic hair in the bath an sink and the horrendous smell of vomit in the room was awful. It would appear the cleaners tried to disguise the smell as both our windows in the room where wide open on...

Three of us stayed at this hotel when we went to see a show at Theatre Royal. We were really impressed by the comfort of the rooms, even though the baths could do with refurbishing, the beds were wonderfully comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Couldn't fault it. Our recent stay at the Hilton...

Stayed in the hotel recently after moving away from the city. My partner and I returned to visit friends amd stayed here. It was nice to stay within the most beautiful part of newcastle, the quayside. Amazing views of the bridges and a bar that overlooks the river. The hotel is on the doorstep to all the bars and restaurants...

Stayed here before a concert in the Metro arena, which is only a mile or so away. It's a great location, being right beside the iconic bridge. Room was comfortable, although the bathroom was ever so slightly 'tired'. Breakfast was excellent and would have graced a far 'posher' establishment. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for 1 night which because it was a Sunday was unbearable value I.e. £33 for a double room. Because it's an old building the hotel is a bit quirky but to us that added to its charm . We were on the fourth floor at the back which meant that we didn't have a View of the river...

Reception on arrival was average - 'a job' rather than a service. The room was on the 4th floor and had a dark, dingy feei about it. Accessed either by stairs or a lift which can only be described as an ex service elevator. Supposedly carrying four persons would only take three, and cringingly close to others making me prefer...
