The best thing about this hotel is the subterranean car park. Eyebrows were raised while riding the dirty elevator to the shabby reception area, I thought perhaps we had mistakenly gone into a backpackers hostel. But no, the corporate colours were in evidence. Check in quick and…
lovely room, clean bedding fresh towels and breakfast were well worth the money. The hotel was perfect for seeing Newcastle by day and night, good views over the tyne,in walking distance to pubs, shops and restaurants,
Clean, central. Rooms should really have more than 2 teabags and 2 coffee sachets when 2 people are booked in, minor flaw really! Plenty well priced restaurants nearby. Great for a weekend break with friends.
Friendly welcoming staff and excellent service. Clean comfortable rooms Our second stay at the hotel I definitely recommend it. Great position next to the river. The chef went out of his way to cook my breakfast earlier due to a hospital appointment.
Cant fault the staff very attentive and couldn't do enough to help, room was very clean but could do with I lick of paint. Only complaint was early Sunday morning council workers started working so woke us up at about 7, not good for a Sunday morning
"Ask for a quite room but if your facing a main road very noisy"

"Located right by the Quayside (River Tyne)"
"In Summer ... get a room away from Lombard Street. Seagulls start screaming at 4am."
"Go to the new Travelodge instead!"
