I stayed here for one night with my partner, the room was small and basic, not the cleanest place I have stayed. The shower was a bit temperamental and wouldn't turn on properly we did make reception aware. It was in a good location, close to bars and restaurants in Jesmond and close to bus stops where the routes run...

So, I put up with a lot travelling for work and appreciate we are all human but...dirty carpets and sheets in the room. Shower cap covering the smoke detector...! Wouldn't be back this side of the next ten years unless upgraded significantly. Don't know what the attached restaurant is like

We stayed at the Jesmond whilst watching a RWC match. It was well placed for St James' park and had some nice restaurants nearby. I phoned ahead and the receptionists were lovely, parking wasn't a problem and everyone was very helpful. What this hotel lacks is some decent sound proofing which simply wouldn't be hard to address - I agree...

Would not recommend this hotel to anyone! Couldn't get a good nights sleep at all in this hotel so noisy at night the walls are paper thin and was woke up a few times every night wanted to just get up and leave! I could hear the whole conversation in the next room the walls are that thin! The staff...

I stayed in a twin room last night in the Jesmond hotel and was disgusted with the standards of the rooms and the service. First of all, despite having no control over other guests I am appalled that there were a group of girls on the 2nd floor shouting & banging on doors in the hallway until 6am, after this...

From the outside the hotel looks rather nice, however this is very deceiving. We booked the hotel through booking.com and prior to our stay added an extra bed into one of the rooms for a third adult. We had this confirmed with booking.com and we also rang the hotel who confirmed this was ok and quoted the price we would...

We'd booked this hotel about a year ago due to the fact the rugby World Cup was on, and there wasn't much choice left in Newcastle. As such, we weren't expecting much from this hotel. However, the room (22) was not very clean, black mould round the shower head , and all round the sealant on the bath, strange stains...
