Great location, staff very polite, excellent value for money and hotel parking was a nice bonus. The service and attention to detail cannot be faulted - However can get a bit noisy over the weekend due to its popular location.

Stayed here for the Rugby League Magic Weekend. Lovely big room on Ground Floor. In a great location only100 yards from the Quayside Lovely bright and airy bar which doubled as breakfast/snack area. Staff were probably the friendliest I have ever met -genuinely interested in what kind of Weekend you were having. Would strongly recommend

Had difficulty finding a central hotel room in Newcastle as the weekend we'd planned on staying was particularly busy re "Rugby Magic Weekend' and we had left it rather late to book a room (although we're still talking a few weeks prior to stay). Had little option but to book a room for two at Travelodge for approx £140 per...

The newly refurbished Travelodges offer value for money. My room was clean, bed linen fresh and all facilities worked as they should. The room was way too warm and no apparent way of controlling heating. The windows are tethered and so can't be opened more than a couple of inches. On my arrival, I found the car park (charged at...

Convenient city centre location, polite and friendly staff, comfortable en-suite room, well-stocked bar, very reasonable rates... everything you'd expect from a Travelodge, in fact. Would happily stay here again in the future!

We stayed to break up a long journey to Scotland. Good standard Travelodge, clean fresh rooms. Very friendly staff. Beds & pillows not very comfy though but fine for 1 night. Nice location right by the quayside.
