When visiting Newcastle on business I always stay here as I can always guarantee the place to be warm, clean, friendly, excellent bed and brilliant nights sleep.Great food next door in the pub and very convenient.

Picked this travelodge as it was close to Newcastle but at half the price of town centre hotels. Transport link is very frequent and cheap. There is an excellent pub (The Falcons Nest) next door which is comfortable and serves great food too.

Good value for money with another hotel across the road that you can use their leisure facilities but on arrival given a room not cleaned quickly resolved but then put in a room next door to a dog without being warned however still managed a good nights sleep in comfortable bed but room with no bath

We've stayed here before and found it comfortable and quiet. We were not disappointed on our return. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was so comfortable I was asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow. With a cosy pub restaurant next door, this hotel has everything we need. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a...

Had a recent stay here, looks like it's just had a make over. Kind of basic but very clean and fine for a night or two. Only issue was we booked a double room but ended up with a twin. Done a great job!

Stayed here before we flew out from Newcastle Airport on holiday as we had an early start in the morning. This Travelodge is a former Innkeepers Lodge; nice big rooms and they've got the new comfy beds too, which makes for a good night's sleep. As well as the Travelodge, there's a Vintage Inn pub next door, a petrol station...

The room had a strong odour of fresh paint. As an asthmatic this could have been dangerous. If i hadnt have checked in so late and into what was clearly the last room available i would have demanded a new room, however i suspect most of the rooms in that part of the hotel had recently been painted as the...
