We have just had an afternoon tea for over 90 people and it was excellent, lovely view from the restaurant, , nothing was too much trouble for the staff, many of our guests were older or had mobility problems but they were looked after well, food was good, scones were delicious, a glass of fizz to start our afternoon and...

The orgional River front Hotel, ideal setting for views over the River and the Bridges and a short stroll into all that Newcastle has to offer. This was once the flagship of Newcastle hotels but felt like nothing has been invested since then - nearly 20 years ago. Staff fantastic, really try hard and are extra Friendly. Hotel light and...

Let's start with the best part: location: right on river, city centre. Not too close from the high life but not far away either. A walk to the Sage Gateshead was 10 mins. For the basics, the hotel was technically ok. Breakfast was fine: not great but not the worst. Staff had to be alerted to when food ran out....

We stayed here for a three day convention and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The parking was free all weekend. The gym although small was handy and meant I could keep up with my schedule whilst away. Our room was clean, large and tidy. With a lovely river view to sit and chill out enjoying. Breakfast was a...

A beautiful view over the river from our balcony was the icing on the cake with this lovely hotel. From the moment we arrived until our departure we were treated to pleasant accommodation in a sunny room with comfortable beds, plenty of closet space, a well appointed en suite bathroom and space to fit my wheelchair with ease. The classic...

The hotel is conveniently located on Quayside making it easy to access from the A1, and within walking distance of the city centre. Parking is in an attached multi-storey charged at £7 a night. Finding a space is not a problem and it does mean access to the hotel is fully undercover. I guess a charge is to be expected...

Good location. However this hotel is in dire need of a renovation. Large room, but stuck in the 90's with old bathrooms and passageways that smell like vacuum bags. Reception staff lovely and helpful. Easy walk to downtown and along quayside. But sorry would not recommend hotel.

Nice hotel room large but bed was on a slant. Feet were higher than your head. Restaurant very good value both for breakfast and dinner. Unfortunatley our key did not work and we had to wait for maintence to come and change battery in device. However he was very quick to respond and fix. Would recommend but ask for rooms...
