Got to the hotel Saturday afternoon, booked 2 twin rooms for a lads night out. Had to wait about 20 mins for the rooms as the maids were a bit behind with the cleaning which didn't bother us as we were in no rush to go anywhere. The rooms were quite large with one double and one single bed a...

Great value for money, but walls were really thin and was woken up a few times in the middle of the night by people talking in the nearby rooms. Breakfast was OK value for money - simple continental for around £5. Room was very warm which made it an uncomfortable nights sleep, couldn't change temperature on the radiator. Otherwise a...

I booked to stay here last minute for a friends birthday night out, after a problem with another hotel booking. I was a little worried about what to expect. Good price for a hotel in Newcasle with free parking. Rooms are small and basic and the bathroom had no radiator We paid for a small basic double room and that's what we got - If you want a 5* hotel go and pay 5* prices,or you could try one of their superior rooms.

After a two minute taxi ride from Newcastle central station, we were given directions to our room which was well out of the way and was a struggle to find. Every corridor we went though was warm, until we got to the one where we would be staying, which is where we were met with a freezing chill. Although we...

staff were rude while checking in, our room was down a fire escape hall with printed out numbers on laminated paper, rooms were okay with tiny bathrooms. Would not stay here again. Would be much better off getting a hotel closer to the centre

After seeing the outside images, I was hopeful the inside would be better but that wasn't the case. The room smelt fusty and dirty to the point where I had to spray the room with deodorant. The bed didn't smell clean, there were stains on the work surfaces, the whole building and interior is very outdated and the location is...
