I didn't book this accommodation my friend did. We stayed in a standard twin room with a shared bathroom (though we had our own sink). I didn't realise this until we arrived and was dreading it. However I was extremely pleased with the facilities! The bathroom was so clean and modern. The room although very small, was also clean and...

This is an odd little place with some lovely features but on no account would l return after the way i was treated. Both myself and my colleague couldn't get WiFi on our second night. I asked for help when this happened but was told to try switching it on and off which i did. At breakfast i politely mentioned...

I discovered this place by chance on a web search. What a pleasant change from the bland and functional hotels I usually stay in. It's a large guest house really, but with total privacy, set in beautiful gardens which extend a long way at the back. The building has history being the first place where a telephone call was ever...

I needed a few days away and found this place. Best thing I ever did. It has been fantastically peaceful. Everything I needed was here. The owners are brilliant - available but not in your face. Breakfasts are buffet style - there's nothing cooked but cereals, juice, excellent coffee, yoghurt, fruit, meat and cheese add up to an exceptional continental....

I thoroughly enjoyed my first ever night in a massive four-poster bed. I felt like royalty. After a stressful day, this was a perfect place to unwind. This is truly a wonderful place to stay, it is peaceful and calm.

We stopped here because it was close to family. What a treasure. It is set in its own grounds and only a few bedrooms. It is a surprise from driving up to the front. Once inside it is full of Asian treasures and ornaments. The room was large and very clean with its own bathroom. Breakfast was continental and okay...

Stayed in the annexe rooms and beds and furnishings nice and comfortable. All looked very nice and bedding smelled nice and fresh ... BUT for your comfort read on..... Problems with the showers reported to the owner as they ran either scalding hot or freezing cold which left us unable to shower for 2 days. Just noticed this problem was...
