One night stay prior to a birthday meal in the town. Few minutes in a taxi to the quayside and all the activity but return to a bit more peace and quiet Comfortable rooms, good showers, like the bar area as well. My request for coffee at breakfast was met with "we don't have any" - my response was "thats...

The Hotel Du Vin is a renovated old building , that when you first locate it, you feel it is a long way out of the city centre. But in essence it is about a 20 minute walk from all that goes on in City centres, and in for some people that may not be a bad thing. It is...

A modern, pleasant hotel. Central location. Excellent breakfast, made to order. Unfortunately, music is played at breakfast; quite unnecessary. At £250 per night for B & B, I expected tissues in my room. Not so, the room came with everything else but tissues. A large comfortable room too.

Stayed for a business meeting, mixed review really, staff were not as attentive as expected, had to ask for room to be refreshed several times and also for tea and coffee breaks. Breakfast for 2 days was disorganised and everything seemed to take ages to be served, tea, toast, individual orders. Room was comfortable.

Went for my 19th birthday in March 2016. Was super beautiful, only went for the night. Bit expensive for one night, but the room was so nice we didnt mind. Breakfast in the morning was also really nice!

Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The restaurant is fixed on local ingredients and great meals absent tweels and foams. Wonderful wines. convenient for travels and well served by quality local taxi firms. Staff are brilliant being warm and welcoming. bed linens second to none. Not the poshest part of the city but so good when heading north. Quiet night is...

We recently went to the restaurant for my mother's 70th birthday and what a great night it was. The staff were incredible, as was the food. Love this place and always have done - couldn't recommend the place any higher.
