We spent two great nights in Daphne and Phil's lovely home, which is quietly situated in the woods, with deer grazing just beyond the edge of the beautiful garden. (Yet Guildford is only three miles away.) Their welcome was wonderfully warm, and they were so friendly and helpful with recommendations and local information. The room was clean, with an extremely...

I recently came on a course at Greyfriars for 11 nights, and was lucky enough to have found this most superb bed and breakfast with the help of my friend who lives in Ash. Daphne and Phil were lovely and looked after my every need, really making me feel part of the family when I was missing my own. They...

Our third visit to Little Gables was as good as ever. It is idyllic and yet so convenient for Guildford where our daughter lives. We like it so much here we usually bring our extended family as well. The house and gardens are set in woodland with paddocks and deer surrounding it. Daphne and Phil make you feel very welcome...

From the moment you enter Little Gables you are beautiful looked after. In our case it was way before that as we were so lost coming from London and not knowing the road. Phil stayed on the phone till we finally entered the beautiful front yard. As I was still having a little bit of a cold I was asking...

This is my 3rd year that I spend 1 or 2 nights per week at this beautiful "second" home. Daphne and Phil are now good friends and not only perfect hosts. Their attention to details and warm welcoming have never been less than extremely good. What else can I say that I haven't already said in my 2 previous reviews?!...

I stayed here for 6 nights with my Father while visiting The Royal Surrey hospital each day. The house has such a lovely feel - comfortable and traditional, quiet and countrified, yet only about 5 minutes drive from the hospital. There was a sense of freedom and being in a "home from home" staying here, unlike some B&B's where it...
