Had Sunday lunch here with the family. Set on the riverside it would be lovely in Summer as there were several tables out the front overlooking the water. Place was packed. We had to leave our name behind the bar in order to reserve a table but we only had to wait 20 minutes. Food was very good. Had mushroom...

Went here with friends. The location is lovely! With plenty of car parking if you are happy to walk a little bit. The food was average. Not amazing but not terrible. The waitress got quite a few things wrong and we then waited 20 minutes to pay the bill. All in all, a pleasant but not life changing lunch.

Here we are again having lunch and drinks at our favourite riverside pub. It's a must go when the weather is like it is today, really sunny. The pub is down a country lane and is well sign posted so please do not get lost or better still use a sat nav. Good quality is good and the burgers are...

We were planning on eating outside but the weather was usual for a bank holiday, and luckily they welcome dogs, didn't expect to get a table inside but after a small wait we did, food was excellent, hubby had gammon steak and it was amazing, I opted for the quiche and it was really good, lovely dressing on the salad,...

Food and service was good. The table offered was not so good. We were dismayed to see on their website that they had welcomed the local hunt on to the pub grounds later that day. We will not be returning.

We visited as a family group and couldn't have been more impressed with the staff, location, as well as the quality and choice of food on offer. A really gem of the Suffolk countryside, definitely worth a visit!

This was my first visit to this pretty country pub located on the water front. We were greeted in a very friendly and welcoming manner and seated in a comfortable location, the window tables were all full but I can see why as the views are lovely. The pub is clean and tastefully decorated and we were served promptly, the...

We had reservation for 21 people on a saturday lunchtime, and assembled for the birthday meal after a beautiful circular walk from the pub. We`d been surprised they accepted such a large group on a busy weekend, but they offered us a varied menu which we didn`t have to pre-book. Lovely room overlooking the river, really pleasant staff and positive...

This country pub is tucked away but well worth seeking out. Delicious food in a wonderful location. Opportunity to eat outside by the estuary. Probably better to book at weekends as it can get very busy. A surprise birthday lunch but we will return - definitely would recommend

Visited beginning of January on a cold windy day. I had last visited the pub some 20 years ago but fortunately sign posting has improved so found easily. Drive was worthwhile as had a beautiful walk along the river before returning to the pub. Sign at door mentioned it was very dog friendly and they were true to their word....
