The Grove is easy to find, it sits plumb on the A12 near the old Hasketon Road. It's quite a hike into the town centre if it's cold and raining, but it's actually quite relaxing. Hasketon Rd brings you into the top of the town. The main purpose of our Saturday afternoon was to show my partner some of my...

Stayed here for a week while working in Suffolk area. I arrived late, very late at 3am on a Sunday flight and the owner Paul agreed to let me check in then even though their normal times stops at 10:30pm. The room I got was modern with flat screen TV and the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. I...

Easy to find on the A12 with good parking. We had the king size room which was light and airy with two windows. Large room with comfy bed. Bathroom large with full size bath and shower cubicle. Everything was very clean and tidy. Tea/Coffee making facilities and good size TV. Although facing the main A12 it was not noisy at...

I can't say that this was a four star experience. Certainly bedroom No 1 was pokey, claustrophobic and airless with only two Velux type windows in the roof for natural light. If they were open, there was traffic noise all night from the A12; if they were closed the room was very stuffy. Closing the blinds with a long pole...

Did what it said on the tin, but it's a no frills B&B with a warm welcome and friendly staff. Small and tired bathroom - noises from neighbouring rooms carried and unfortunately cooking smells reached upstairs bedrooms. Good restaurant facility but when full (which it was) staff were constantly apologising for the wait as they were evidently stretched - waiting...

This was our third time here, second time in the family room with our granddaughter. Spotlessly clean and bright. Breakfast was excellent and even my picky granddaughter enjoyed a full english. We didn't stay for evening meals as we were visiting family. Paul and Ed both greeted us warmly and recognized us from previous visits. Will definately stay again.

Paul was very welcoming right from arrival. We were offered a room change as Mum has difficulty going up stairs and Paul had given us an upstairs room for views. Also, having said we would not want dinner, we changed out minds which was no problem! Our room was very clean and fresh, breakfast and dinner were delicious. Nothing was...

This was the second time that we have stayed at this friendly hotel and it did not disappoint. The rooms, although a little small, were clean and functional. My husband, daughter and I stayed in for dinner and the food was delicious. The breakfast is always plentiful and filling. The owner and his staff are always friendly and helpful. We...

Loved staying here. Very tastefully decorated room, nice gardens, made me feel welcome. Breakfast was good too. Parking was also a plus. Cannot fault it really, also has a bar which is an added plus after a long journey.

We stayed at the Grove House Hotel on 26th June; the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, the Hotel was clean and well maintained, and our room was excellent with a lovely comfy bed and a huge well equipped bathroom. Breakfast was also brilliant with lots of choice and nicely cooked food. Would definitely stay here again when travelling...
