We had a family meal early on Saturday Evening. We were made welcome by very friendly staff, The table was set in a large square to sit the 16 of us which was a nice touch. The pre ordered food was all excellent not one complaint. the service was swift and attentive. Great value for money

Stayed for two nights in one of the garden rooms. Large bedroom and bathroom, hair dryer, fan, tea/coffee making facilities and toiletries in bathroom. Breakfast was lovely (cereals, yoghurt, full English etc) and the lady serving was very friendly and polite. Only downside was it finished at 9am, so no time for lie ins but perfect if you had to...

Spent 2 nights here, the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and confortable. Overall no complaints and would recommend it. We also had the after funeral wake in the hotels conservatory. The buffet was plentiful and everyone appeared content.

We spent four nights at Rosery, using it as a base to visit a friend at the delightful market town of St Ives, the magnificent cathedral at Ely and the colleges of Cambridge ( the park & ride from Newmarket Road was very good). We spent an enjoyable day walking round the RSPB reserve at Lakenheath fen. The hotel was...

The hotel is in a very convenient location and looks attractive, with a lovely garden. We Were were speedily moved to a ground floor room when my companion realised that he would be unable to manage the steep stairs to the first floor. The room was very spacious, and the shower was nice and hot, and there was no extra...

We arrived late, much later than expected, phoned ahead some 10 minutes before reaching the hotel and still managed to get dinner. The staff were fantastic, so helpful. Bed was comfortable and my husband was delighted with his English cooked breakfast.

Arranged a family room for 3. Although the room was old fashioned in keeping with the building this did not detract from our enjoyable stay. The service and breakfast provided was excellent. We would definitely go back if we were ever returning to Newmarket. Thank you.

We were looking for a place to stay near Cambridge as my Son was playing football the next morning. The hotel was small, friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked through the door and we were personally shown to our room, which was a nice touch. The hotel is old, with charm and the family room we had was...

Stopped here for one night recently and have to say the owner/staff were great. We were travelling to a wedding and arrived early and they arranged to have our rooms ready way in advance of the usual check in time. Nice breakfast and a good nights sleep. What more do you need.
