We stayed here for 1 night as we were visiting family for a birthday meal. Check in was easy and the room was very clean with a nice bathroom. We had a few drinks in the bar and the atmosphere was nice and friendly. Breakfast was tasty and cooked to order. I would stay here again if we go back...

I have recently eaten here and had a wonderful meal, the seafood tagliatelle is sensational and would highly recommend. The staff were happy and polite and made my experience even more enjoyable. Keep up the good work!

Good value stay. John the manager is great and addressed a couple of minor issues very promptly. Family room was ideal for our family of 4 as it is 2 separate rooms that connect. Location is great with Melford Hall (National Trust) a 4 minute walk away and several great places to enjoy in and around Long Melford.

Stayed here with friends for the weekend, arriving Friday evening and checked out on Sunday. We were made very welcome and found the choice of real ale in the bar very nice. The food in the restaurant was excellent.. we had a good choice of starters and main courses between the group and it was all lovely.. in fact when...

Purely a restaurant experience - for the fourth time. This time it was for a 70th birthday celebration so a table for 6 [well 7 but there was one no show] was booked for a Saturday night. Our table was good and large enough to spread out and we had received a very warm welcome. As you can guess we...

We needed to stay in the area for a couple of days, and this inn fitted the bill completely. We received a warm welcome and our room was modern, toasty, (freezing weekend!) spotless, with all facilities. The off road parking for residents is a bonus. We had drinks in the congenial bar (open fire) and decided to eat in the...

We hadn't been in this pub for quite a while but we're looking for a quick lunch. They have really worked on the inside and the decor was a good quality village atmosphere with an adjacent restaurant area. Can eat in both. Quite busy when we went in but managed to fit us in and all the staff were extremely...

We stayed here with two other couples as it was close to the venue for a friend's wedding. It's a nice old pub with friendly staff and bags of character. However, our room was out the back in a newer building which was very clean and comfortable though it lacked character which we'd hoped for, considering the style of pub...

We stayed overnight at the Crown while attending our cousin's 50th birthday. For a small hotel/inn it has plenty of character and the rooms were clean and comfortable, while the staff were friendly. We didn't eat dinner in the restaurant, but had breakfast the following morning, which was delicious. I would certainly use again.
