This was our first time at the Hotel and we would definitely stay again. We will also pop in to eat when passing. Great food! The rooms were warm and welcoming and there was a lovely open fire burning in the lounge to sit and have a nightcap by. Would recommend the Ravenwood Hall County Hotel if you are traveling...

I've been staying at Ravenwood about 3 or 4 times a year for the past 11 years. I always look forward to coming to this hotel, the rooms are always very clean and comfortable and the quality of food and drinks is about as good as it can be. The staff are clearly well led and the focus on personal...

Nice friendly and accommodating staff, good food, warm and comfortable room. The only reason we didn't give it 5/5 was because it's very near to a duel carriageway so you have the constant sound of traffic all day and evening when outside (couldn't hear it inside). Also and this is very minor - no dressing gown or slippers provided.

We stayed on the Sunday night dinner, bed and breakfast package, having stayed at their sister hotel at Long Melford on a similar deal. The rooms here in the "Mews" were very much smaller than those at the Black Lion at Long Melford but there were no stairs for our elderly parents. They could not have got into the bath...

Had afternoon tea here before and it was very good. Yesterday I thought that it was not up to usual standard. The sandwiches were totally vegetarian; cucumber, cheese & pickle, smoked salmon and egg mayonnaise. Everything was very, very cold including the scones. We did order for one vegetarian but a little bit of ham or chicken for the rest...

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I would like to sincerely apologies to you and your guest's for the disappointment in the afternoon tea selection. I appreciate this does not make up for your parties experience, especially it being a celebration. I have passed all comments on to my team and they have been duly noted....

My wife took me here for the night as a birthday treat. It was a great all round experience. The staff were lovely, the rooms (furnished in keeping with the age of the building) were warm and comfortable. We had booked dinner, bed and breakfast and it was the food that really made the stay special. Dinner in the evening...

We were here for 2 nights for a friends daughters wedding and we stayed in the St Edmunds Room. Check in is 2.30pm and the hotel staff were brilliant at getting our room ready for 12 (actually just before!) as we needed to get changed ready for the wedding before hand. The room was very cosy with lots of lovely...

We stayed here for two nights for a friend's daughters wedding. The hotel staff were all extremely friendly and efficient. We had the Oak Room which had a very comfortably 4 poster bed with drapes. There were tea/coffee making facilities in the room together with a bottle of drinking water. We had breakfast on both mornings which again was very...

This is exactly what I imagined a Country House Hotel to be! A fabulous location, just off the A14 road yet surrounded by acres of woodland, and a most impressive exterior as you approach down the drive. reception was efficient and welcoming; the room we had (in the restored Stable Block) was perfect, though small, with doors leading directly onto...
