The Chantry hotel is a lovely small hotel with lots of character. Our room was bright, clean and a good size. When we arrived we were offered a pot of tea, which we accepted. This was a really nice and welcomed gesture. We were able to walk easily to all parts of the town including a very short walk to...

We stayed at The Chantry Hotel for 3 nights on our annual trip back to the UK from France to visit family and friends. I can honestly say that our stay was wonderful from the moment we walked in the door and were offered the complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits (available to residents all day). The staff without exception were...

We spent a long weekend here and we had a great time. The room was large and comfortable, very modern and spotless. Breakfast was varied and cooked beautifully and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

This hotel is run with military precision, but the warm and friendly staff make your stay so welcoming that you'll forget all other reasons to be in Bury St Edmunds. This town is home for me, but I live in America now, this hotel and it's staff make me feel at home the moment I arrive, every time.

The hotel is in ideal location near centre of Bury St Edmunds. We booked for one night as went to event in town. Staff warm and welcoming. Room was excellent, clean and spacious. Breakfast next morning was lovely, recommend full English. Would definitely stay here again. Value for money. Parking available at side of hotel.

It's the attention to detail that makes this place so special. The staff are so friendly and thoughtful and nothing is ever too much trouble. Room was spotless, temperature easily controlled and the beds were very comfortable.

I have stayed here several times over the last month and chose it over a bigger chain hotel as I wanted something a little different, and this listed building fit that profile. This is a small family run establishment with 12 rooms and you wont have lots of staff running around the place all the time, there is a bell...

It's a spotlessly clean, fabulous and charming little hotel with everything you need for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Our twin room was perfect, lovely white linen, very quiet and did I...

I'm so pleased to find this gorgeously restored Georgian hotel right in the heart of Bury-St-Edmunds. I'm already dreaming up reasons why I need to come back and stay in this hotel again! My room was extremely comfortable and to top it off there was a stunning 4-poster bed, see pic. But best of all they serve a fab veggie...
