We stayed here for 3 nights whilst on a WI coaching holiday to the area. The hotel was clean, comfortable and very accommodating with friendly staff in all areas that we visited. Being on a group booking we had set dinner menus giving a good selection of starters, and desserts and choices of meat, fish and vegetarian main courses with...

Spent one night here for a trip to the World of Wedgwood a few miles away. It is a large hotel with many facilities. The breakfast was standard but ok. We were surprised to find that having booked a double room, we got a twin room with an extra bunk bed which took up much of the floor space. But...

Came here for a two night stay while we went to a show at the Regent Theatre, the staff were brilliant, from reception to the bar (special mention to Matthew who even went off to get a new box of Prosecco glasses for us), room service spot on for a late night snack & breakfast treat Sunday morning. Room clean...

We stayed here for two nights with three children to visit Alton Towers as we needed a less expensive option than staying at the park. The hotel is well placed, clean and friendly. We ate at the restaurant both evenings and were happy with the food. The free meals for the children also meant it was very reasonably priced. Staff...

Arrival is nothing extraordinary, Friendly receptionist points me to baggage trolley and advises car park around back with more convenient entrance. Car park spaces tight. Lift to room ok. Room ok, Only two of us, so would have been better without bunk beds in corner, but no choice when booked. No view to mention. Aircon fan noisy and not particularly...

Good, comfy family room for 5. Excellent value which included breakfast (usually have to book 2 rooms for the 5 of us) Approx 30-40mins to Alton Towers depending on traffic. Very helpful staff who gave us advice on best route. Breakfast was fresh and hot, better than a lot of buffets we've had! Would definitely return on our next visit...

Sadly, an early evening drinking session meant that the one night stay was a bit of a blur. Here's what I remember though, The staff were great. Friendly and helpful. Checkin was quick and painless. The room was clean and the bed permitted sleep. To be fair, I'd probably have slept anywhere. The shower and bathroom were clean and there...

Just spent 4 nights at BW Stoke. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Hotel a little worn out and old fashioned. Rooms large but dusty. Breakfast well run and plenty of freshly cooked food available. Avoid eating there evenings. Menu limited, pricey and quality poor. Meals refunded as they were so bad. Lots of weddings passing through so the hotel gets...
